What are the best "non-fiction horror" books out there? This can range from true crime to conspiracy schizokino to cryptozoology to the paranormal to aliens. I really enjoyed picrel. The very first chapter is especially spooky with the number of times the words "skeletons," "bones," and "skulls" are mentioned. Another good "true" book that's very creepy is Programmed to Kill by David McGowan; and another few titles off the top of my head are: The Ultimate Evil by Maury Terry, Communion by Whitley Strieber, and the Missing 411 series.
