ITT: femcel-lit
>>24702319Why would anybody want to read that, except for trolling femcels by having sex with them?
>>24702399what?
>>24702399I read it and it gave me existential dread.
>>24702666>I read it and it gave me existential dread.Sold.
>>24702319>femcel-lit
>>24702319well i went to buy it but I ended up getting this instead
>fem>celIncompatible
>>24702319The fuck are you talking about? The main character's just hyper autistic. There's not resentment in her, she simply doesn't have interest in anything other than making the system she understands function.>>24702666Can you put your finger on why? Personally I found it encouraging to read a story of a person who was born a bad fit for human society finding a place that gives her a sense of completeness and purpose. Everyone should be so lucky.
>>24702319>femcelWhy categorize it in terms of gender? The problem presented in the book transcends gender or social status, and is applicable to all periods in history, even if we go back to the stone age.>>24703036Also this ^. She is not misanthropic like the stereotypical (fem|in)cels
>>24702319she has actual autism. you would think this book would be something you guys would like completely relate to it. like the previous anon said, she's not a miserable weirdo like some posters around here. there is a character like that in the book and he is completely unlikable.she has a simple and stable little job and is happy with how things are going for her, though her family keeps pressuring her to get a "serious" job and to get married even though she obviously can't.
>>24703065Women can't have autism.
>>24702319OP, I'll read Convenience Store Woman if you read Divorcing by Susan Taubes. Quiet, solitary girl tricked into an unhappy marriage; plucked out from inevitable academic solitude by a whirlwind then left adrift as she realises her incompatibility with the life she's ended up living (and all the possible lives she could have led). It's a terrific novel.Swallowing by Rejean Ducharme is now also coming to mind. Predominantly set during childhood. Another plight against irreconcilable expectations, the building of an inner world, and abandoning that world to kill for Israel. Got a new English translation in the last five or so years; the author was locally famous in Quebec but a recluse.>>24703036>>24703052>>24703065I'm recing the above two novels to all three of you.
>>24703100correct, they self-diagnose and fake what they think is autism when in reality it's usually a trauma response so they use hyper fixation and obsessive tendencies to push people away in order to seize control back into their livesthere are sizeable overlaps in behavior, but the key is one can be fixed and the other can't
Is Marguerite Duras proto-femcel lit?
>>24702319>>24702399>>24702426>>24702681Obligatory
>>24702319it's not autism she has just schizoid personality disorder
>>24703199>they self-diagnose and fake what they think is autism when in reality it's usually a trauma response so they use hyper fixation and obsessive tendencies to push people awayThat sounds like half of the people here.
>>24703210>chart by Cremieux kek isn't that the guy who used to go by u/TrannyPorn0 on reddit and bragged about how many ladyboys he'd slept with? Grad school dropout but he's pretending like he got a doctorate or something? Interesting chart, very funny individual. "take me seriously! take me seriously! guys stopppp!" etc
>>24702319i really like that book. Would be cool if there were similar slice of life kind of books exploring themes of adult living in contemporary society
>>24702319>Mad Shadows explores the psychology of a single family: Patrice, the beautiful and narcissistic son; his ugly and malicious sister, Isabelle-Marie; and Louise, their vain and uncomprehending mother. Repeatedly, the novel posits an amoral world where beauty stands hollow and love rings empty.
>>24703711>the novel posits an amoral world where beauty stands hollow and love rings empty.>published in 1959Yeah we're screwed
I read the OP book in japanese and thought it was supposed to be a pessimistic book until realizing the author wrote it to uplift keiko's lifestyle. Then I remembered this is japan we're talking about and becoming a mindless husk of a person who does the same thing every day is actually idealized
>>24702319Was she a psychopath or was it just autism?
>>24703770keep working at it bro, pretty soon you might be able to grasp the concept that different people are different. Keiko's life is right for HER, not anybody else. It's not being "uplifted" but it's exactly suited to her specifically. She will never be able to find something better, and if her friends and family could wrap their heads around the idea that she's happy with it, their lives would get better too.
>>24703869maybe idk just seems like a sad way to go out as a person. like it exists to justify the lifestyle. if you're really okay with that lifestyle and you know it's okay then you won't feel the need to justify it, you'll know deep down it's alright
>>24704112Yeah no shit. The book isn't for or by a Keiko. The character is very clear about the fact that she doesn't understand at all what other people think she's missing, and it's obvious from the way people talk to her that nobody thinks she's succeeding at fitting in or is in any way cool. The point is that they're wasting their time trying to "help" her because she doesn't and never will understand what want from/for her. Trying to help her away from the things that give her purpose and comfort can only confuse her and stress out everyone else. SHE doesn't feel the need to justify anything and DOES know deep down it's alright, but she can't figure out how to communicate that to the people who care about her. The book attempts to enunciate that. No one is suggesting anyone should try to become Keiko, that would be ridiculous.
What did you guys think of this?
Apart from severely physically or mentally disabled women, "femcels" don't exist, just women who choose to remain single instead of dating down.

>>24704238I have it on good authority that she sucked her way to the top. Powerful suction, too. Not just a quickie, lickie, spitty type. Monstrous way with her lips and cheeks. And tongue. God, the tongue. It is forked, like a snake. She puts one and then the other fork into your third eye and alternates like that, and draws the fork up the shaft and ahh! You explode into that warm, gooey mouth, replete with Chinese spit, which is thicker than American spit on account of their diet.I know thirteen men, editors, publishers, titans of industry, whose souls now reside within the tummy of one Han "Fang" Kang. My favourite is the story of the Random House bigwig who, after a few lines of coke, remembers staring up at the ceiling fan of his motel room and observing in the reflection of a single blade the mighty Fang Kang bobbing and heaving on his five-inch wonder.
>>24703270it's ok when image board dwellers do it because it's paired with inmense misantrophy and feelings of superiority instead of more innocuous forms of social inadequacy
>>24704905wich kinda proves using sexual favours to get to the top is not really morally reprehensible if you put enough effort into it
>>24703196>Divorcing by Susan TaubesIs this about misogyny? Thats what i get when i google this
>>24703210>look at my heckin' chart bro! this proves everything!!go outside.
>>24703210what's the difference between historical and history? And why are they so gender contrasting?
>>24703199My girlfriend got diagnosed as on the spectrum by two different doctors. No, she doesn't have a dick.
>>24704781Femcels are real, but it’s not really a direct 1:1 analogy with incelism. Unless incelism has been expanded to mean more than adult virgins.
>>24706437is she single?>No, she doesn't have a dick.never mind
>>24703199>>24703100A childhood friend was diagnosed and it fit incredibly well. It explained why she always fell for the same jokes as my asperger friend did. Why she could almost never figure out when people were joking. She spent years on WoW and later designed and sold clothes on IMVU. Autistic level fixation on every research on child rearing without having any. Most friends are online.Even the superficial tests like "how do you brush your teeth" is something where she starts explaining the whole ritual in detail before stopping herself and asking if she should continue, in contrast to most people who would just mime it.
>>24706825>in contrast to most people who would just mime itFuck.
>>24706477They might exist but they are much more rare than male incels. And no being able to get laid but choosing not to doesn't make one a femcel. If that's the case then those women are volcels not incels
