Is it okay to read from your phone? Should i get a kindle instead? Are they that much better than reading on your phone? I started reading pretty recently but i quickly realized most books i wanna read are imported to my country and some cost up to $50-100 so reading digitally is basically my only option. Most ebook readers seemed kinda expensive as well, so is it worth buying one or just keep reading on my phone?

I have a kindle and I can 100% recommend it. I only read physical books at home, but outside eReaders are the best choice. One of the main pros is that you’re able to control the brightness to your convenience. Also, you can “carry” as many books as you want. Splurge a little, anon. It’s worth it

it's sad that 4chan will never be able to progress culturally beyond 2016

I generally only read physical books, but have also read some on an eReader. I think it was a very cheap Kindle or some shit. But the difference compared to a phone is pretty huge. My eyes feel tired at some point when reading web novels on my phone. But I never really got that feeling on my trashy eReader. Bigger screen, lower brightness, text just looks better.

The best camera is the one you have in your pocket.
The best gaming device is the one you have in your pocket.
The best ereader is the one you have in your pocket.

Reading on a Kindle means you will only read when you're with your Kindle and you won't read when you're without it. Reading on your phone means you'll read whenever you want because your phone is always with you.

Your phone has a red light filter, turn it on to give your eyes some rest.

I wouldn't have bought one myself but I got two as gifts (gen 2 and gen 7 kindles) and so I stopped using the kindle for a cheap amazon tablet because they only "play nice" with mobi that every other format is a pain in the ass for some reason or other now I just use my phone now reading around 300 pages now a day and I never feel this eye strain people complain about but the good thing about a kindle is for focus faggots who want a device that will do one thing it forces you to have no other options so that would be an up side if the vendors weren't having a vested interest in locking their users into their merchant platforms and stripping good features away so the user gets engaged ("tangled up in a spider web"). If it was 2010 or 2208 and the Kindle 2 was the only Kindle on the market then I would say go for it because it's great but I haven't checked in for more than two years now and I'm not sure that it isn't just a UI for choosing audiobooks with a set of airpods that fail every three months so I'm sure they're just harvesting as much money as they can from their users so I would say use what you have until it breaks and don't be jealous of fat homosexuals who can't stop themselves from buying ebooks because they might look jolly and cool but they actually got cursed with severe rectal pain and dependence.

Kindle (probably other ereaders too but I’m not familiar with them) is great because the screen is easy on the eyes, there aren’t a bunch of distractions like in phones, and it has a built in dictionary for looking up words you don’t know.

I found out that reading on a tablet, or on a phone causes a warping of the spinal cord, and hemmorhoids. You pretty much need to wear these lazy readers glasses to stop from getting kyphosis. I find that cracking a good (physical) book out in nature 3 or 4 times a week can slow down the effects, in fact I liked it so much I won't go near a device any more. My eyes are better than ever.

I have owned 2 kindles in the last 15 years and i love it. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
Ofcourse nothing beats reading a physical copy but if youre like me and you want to try out a book first or you want to read something hardly available in physical copy, kindle is the way to go. No1 best thing about kindle opposed to phone is that the kindle screen isnt a real screen but an e-ink screen which is much easier on the eyes, apparently it has the same effect on eye strain as from reading a physical book. And the screen is bigger than on phone. So its easier to read cause of the light and cause of the font size. I love my kindle

just hold the phone up at eye level

It can fuck up your eyes if you go for 1-2 hour reading sessions. Kindles are lighter on the eyes. If don't have an issue with that you can keep reading on your phone, if not invest on a kindle

Your phone gives off blue light, which is apparently bad for you and keeps you awake.
Kindles are better. Books are best.

Site’s been co-opted by feds who deliberately prop up this stagnation to maintain the honeypot. Clear as trip that it’s a fed/bot/whatever if they post with the affectation of a detached 2016 memer, complete with the jaks and frogs.

Even if it is a “real” person, they have no unique ideas or perceptions and are, for all practical purposes, a bot that shouldn’t be engaged with in good faith.

I have unique ideas! i think incest is okay and certain cases of rape are okay. I had sex with my brother. Also i have like 7 mental illnesses. I am more unique than you.

Everything since 2016 has been backsliding.
>>
>>24705605
Or reading on your phone means you'll never read because reading on your phone is an awful experience.

What certain cases of rape are okay?

Pay $20 for ReadEra and FOH.
>>
Download an E-Ink app on your phone to read on. Its just as good as a Kindle.
