As far as what value you can extract from it, I'd say very little. If you pick it up to learn about nazism, you will be sorely disappointed. The whole nazi ideology according to it exists solely to oppose Marxism, substituting a racist theory of history to the msterialist theory of history. Problem is, a definition of it is never given, let alone expanded upon. So you get an awkward situation where you can learn about communism by reading das capital, but you can't learn about national socialism by reading MK, which you always see being peddled around as its main text. The autobiographical sections are mildly interesting, I can see a young neo nazi feeling galvanised and hyped while reading about how he and his buddies totally schooled those stinky commies and the whole town adored them or how he managed to not be drown out in anarchists trying to silence him while he was making a speech at the brewery and soon everyone was hypnotised by his rethoric, but I don't think they belong to a political tractatus and they feel super out of place
As far as politics go it is super mild stuff. Just your average conservative political program that you may or may not agree with but nothing mind blowing. Stuff like "kids should do more PE in school"
The international politics section is the most lucid, so much so that it feels like someone else wrote it, but it is super outdated stuff that will not be useful to any current day political program

It's one of those things that's usually engaged with by people predisposed to either love or hate it, and the reality is that it's neither a particularly good nor bad book. Considering it was dictated and not read I'd say it's moderately impressive in some ways, but that's not much of an endorsement for such a long read.
I probably goofed by reading the Manheim translation instead of one of the more authentic ones, but it felt reasonably faithful, granting Adolf his fair share of style and personality where possible, and I like the decision to make Hitler refer to various of his enemies as "twerps."
It's true that it's pretty unhelpful as a guide to NS, but it was always meant as a personal story and not a manifesto, and a lot of the specifics weren't really worth laying out at that point for various reasons (watch "Triumph of the Will" if you want something more like a national socialist manifesto; it's also not an amazing work of art, but it's a concise and worthwhile document). The regionalized and surprisingly casual approach to specifics of implementation is a big part of what makes NS and to a lesser extent fascism stand out from Marxism and other "top down" ideologies anyway.
I recommend people read it, because it's a chance to hear out the most important and misunderstood man of the 20th century in his own words, but it can feel like homework at times.

Decent book.
Some stuff I thought was good was the differentiation between subjects and citizens, to be citizens women must give birth and men must serve in the military to ensure there is a future and someone to safeguard that future, doing so would elevate a person from subject to citizen giving them the right to vote.
Stuff that is outdated is the idea of living space as the book was written before fertilizers and industrial farming took off after ww2 (1950s if I remember correctly) so the mathematics for having enough land to feed so many people became irrelevant.
The cultural subversion is correct both influencing the minds of the populous and injecting immigrants into the land.
I can't remember too well the topics of banks and economics.
Would recommend as an introduction to Hitler then you should read other ww2 stuff.
