>youtube video where guy explains the meaning of a book>reads straightforward passage that describes something in clear simple language>"explains" it by repeating almost exactly word-for-word what the original passage said because it's that straightforward

that's what dealing with the functionally illiterate is like. i've had normies thank me for "explaining" eg an error message on their screen when i all did was read it out loud. they know all the words but the meaning eludes them until they hear it with proper intonation or something. "oooh so there's not enough SPACE on the HARD DRIVE, i have to DELETE something. thanks, anon!"
>>24720394>>24720400Yeah I watched this entire video waiting for his thoughts on the book and I never got them. He just summarized the book and even got some of that wrong. Like saying Toadvine and The Kid woke up in the hotel together. I know it's small, but nigga can't even get the text right. I do put it on every now and then when I feel like hearing passages from Blood Meridian while I'm cleaning my bathroom or something, but I don't think that justifies its existence. People should just read the book.
>>24720400His videos on the Divine Comedy are even worse
>>24720394These videos are made for subhuman normies who have no ability to conceptualise things themselves. Don't worry about it. As a word of advice, never watch a YouTube analysis of a movie, book, song, etc that has more than 30k views. It'll save you a lot of hassle in the future.
