Here and there some stuff more fictional and more drugpsychosis seeping through. But if i hadnt read junkie before, than it wouldnt have made any sense at all for me so i think you are on the right track. I have read cities of the red light lately, but sadly noticed that this guy is kind of a one trick pony. He just describes the same scenes he witnessed in reallife or in his hash-and opium induced dreams and just packages them differently for all his books. Still a fun read, but dunno at one point it looses its novelty and edge when you read about the hundreds boy being hanged while he ejaculates all over the room
