waow a list of obviously false statements! Absurdity is the funniest thing ever! Rock on reddit!
>>24723458These used to be full of interesting references to theories, extreme fringe theories, longstanding jokes, etc., now it's random garbage. Icebergs are cringe now.
>>24724973What are some good icebergs you have in your folder or have seen in internet?
>>24724975I don't archive images, but I remember looking at and posting icebergs on f**lchan when I was a teen. People used to put a lot of effort into them, and even wackier theories were still grounded enough to be debatable. Icebergs are just another victim of semantic dilution or "memetic dilution" as it were. The original meaning of has been lost, similar to how the gigachad went from ironic, to post-ironic, then finally to post-postironic, this last form being absolutely sincere with irony instead being the performative gesture. How drab.

How drab.I noticed this a lot. The first chad meme in fact was pretty ironical. Like the virgin was a normal person and the chad was someone that did things wackier, later the meme become a way of people to unironically push political views or opinions in general as above everything else.
