I am going insane over these two conflicting concepts
>Existence is so complex on every level that God's nature must be incomprehensible and far beyond our understanding. Therefore mysticism is the truest path.
>Complexity is illusory, Truth lies in the essence of all things, and the essence must be simple and directly communicable to all human beings, regardless of their intellect, their environments, or the contexts they operate in. Wisdom pierces all veils. Therefore dogma is the truest path
I need more books that discuss these concepts in depth so I can make sense of this shit before I blow my brains out. Somebody kindly suggested Henri Lefebvre's works to help with this, but so far it seems to be digressing and diverging onto other concerns and working within frameworks that are only applicable to a contemporary western mode of existence, whereas I'm looking for something more universal (and less materialist). Help a nigga out.

It's almost like an antithetic of pure reason. Huh, I wonder who we could read to help resolve this?
