Looking to get into Germanic/Scandinavian mythology/paganism. I'm aware of the Poetic and Prose Eddas as some of the most important pieces of this, but there appear to be many translations out there.
Which one is considered best and why? Looking for modern English readability, but without losing too much of the original meaning.
Also would be interested in any other important sources/books worth reading in this area.
