Gonna check this out for the first time. What am I in for?
>>
A pretty neat children's book.
>>
Do you really need reddit to tell you how to enjoy a children's book? Just read it.

I am NOT a child.
>>

Then why would you read a children's book?

Why are you being so rude?

As long as you’re not going into it like a faggot ass cynical cunt you’ll enjoy them.

I'm not too kind to harsh language like that. Is there any present in the book?
>>
Is it similar to The Hobbit? I enjoyed reading that a child.

It's a fun comfy read.
If you enjoy the first one it's worth reading through the rest. The story gets darker and the stakes are higher. The transition in tone as the series goes on is probably my favourite thing about Harry Potter
>>
If you didn't read them as they were coming out there's no point.

The Hobbit is actual literature.
