Fetishism seems mostly unrelated to porn, from my reading and experience. They seem to develop in childhood and usually in response to things that are either common and innocuous (but charged with a secret meaning) or events which are highly traumatic, or some combination of the two. I'm sure pornographic content can play this role in some people's lives. But fetishism seems to be just a part of the human condition.
