Serial killer ed.
Old: >>24721148
>>
I really need to add all my books to my Goodreads, I need to keep track of all of these motherfuckers.
>>
On a scale of 1-10, how retarded is /lit/?
>>
>>24729165
Using Goodreads like Discogs? Huh. I never really thought of using it like that. I just have what I want to read regardless of whether I own it or not, and what I've read regardless of ditto. I use the tags system liberally tho.
>>
>>24729169
H/10
>>
>>24729171
That's how you use Discogs? Also, I use Goodreads the same way, I just also want to be able to keep track of what I own.
>>
>>24729169
I was thinking about polling all of the boards to get everyone's opinion on what the smartest and dumbest boards on 4chan were.
/lit/ is probably one of the smarter boards but not the smartest. The dumbest is either /pol/ or /x/.
>>
why is US a cuck for israel?
>>
>>24729175
/x/ knows what it's doing
>>
>>24729159
Technological singularity is pure cope. It won't happen.
>>
>>24729177
Because they had their own weird protestant off shoots who want the world to end who believe that if there is a state of Israel it makes it easier for the revelations prophecy of Israeli jews converting to Christianity or being damned which helps bring about the final judgment
For years these people didn't vote because they thought that the US government was a spawn of the devil (they're the reason JFK had to explain he didn't answer to the seven headed beast of Rome) and they didn't want any part of it, especially none of that mixed public schooling or voting in them, but then the moral majority happened and US christians started viewing voting as a way of securing the end times by voting in enough bellicose zionists the whole thing would have to burn down soon
It hasn't worked, but they are trying their hardest to force the hand of God
>>
>>24729177
because anything israel gets away with, the US knows it can get away with.
>>
>>24729175
/tv/ is pretty fucking stupid
>>
>>24729191
/wsg/ and /gif/ are really bad too. They seriously exist to leech off of the suffering of other people.
>>
>>24729195
/gif/ being trolled for literally 2 years by one guy making /ylyl/ threads only to spam the worst slop from tiktok might qualify them for the stupidest board of all time. Every thread without fail was filled with confused and enraged posts.
>>
My favourite serial killer is probably Dahmer. I feel like Bundy is spookier though cause I think there's been a lot of murders that haven't been attributed to him; same with Clifford Olson.
>>
>>24729159
Why rush to make a new thread and then use a shitty pic anyways
>>
>>24729213
Dahmer I feel kind of bad for because he was crazy and asking for help and if anyone had been interested in finding the killer they probably would have
Instead there's shit like the police dropping one of the naked and running victims back to Dahmer because they figured he got lost and didn't want to pry
>>
>>24729171
That's how I use it

Every day I swing wildly between feeling really lonely and touch starved and feeling overwhelmed by the presence of other people, to the point that I'll fantasize for several hours at a time about fleeing into the middle of nowhere or escaping my body to roam as a disembodied spirit. Sometimes the switch happens multiple times in one day. I have a collection of images with no people in them that I like to open and flip through to calm myself down when being around people - at work, in public, visiting home, whatever - gets to be too much. I'm kind of a fan of the whole liminal space thing because it scratches that itch. Look at this weird poolroom thing that seems to go on forever, isn't it comfy? Wouldn't you like to lay back in the dimness and listen to water dripping somewhere far off? It's dysfunctional as hell and as I get older while remaining alone the loneliness gets worse but the type of escapism I engage in when I do this serves as enough of a balm to keep me going without changing my life for another couple days.
>>
>>24729282
If they joined up the two pools it would be a really fun lap
>>
>>24729159
Yeah so I'm gonna become a citizen of Nazi Germany, and then I'm gonna keep working and clubbing and doing hobbies, and then millions of people are gonna die in foreign countries, and then the zionazis are gonna be in power for a decade or two, or three, and then I'll be older and have money from working, and then the war will happen, and then it'll end, and I'll be traveling in an allied country, and then more people will die, and then the government will be changed by some other people, and I'll be working and owning a house somewhere, and then some country will be owned by some other country, and I'll be working and living in a house or something. Wow paying attention to politics is really important???
>>
>>24729175
>/lit/ is probably one of the smarter boards
So in the 2-3 range?
>>
>>24729175
>/lit/ is probably one of the smarter boards
/lit/ is about on the same level of post quality and as /v/ was a little over a decade ago.
It might be the most effeminate and neurotic board though.
>>
Since I'm never going to have the opportunity to have a wife or a child or own any property or have a good job I think I'd like to be a lifelong student and live in squalor and rack up debt ill never pay
I'd like to get into a good school that still does old school academia. Does that even exist anymore? As an outsider all I hear is bad stories about the state of universities even the prestigious ones with legacies
>>
>>24729228
Yeah Dahmer was defo failed on some level, as well.
>>
There have been a lot of cute, innocent girls who got raped throughout history.
>>
>>24729329
Basically the only thing he had going for him was nobody looking for the victims or in his fridge
He's batshit crazy enough to think he's creating zombie lovers, it's not a state of mind that lends itself to avoiding police detection
>>
>>24729175
The dumbest is without a doubt /pol/, but the second dumbest is /3/. /3/ is 90% low effort baits and shitposts.

recently I've started getting horrible intrusive thoughts of her being intimate with her previous bfs and it makes me feel like fucking shit and ruins my day. and I think its because my gf recently opened up about her shitty romantic past

>ex who was absolutely shit. had major drinking issues, was "previously" a serial cheater, once forced another girl to abort, and one time sneakily removed the condom without her permission
>another ex was an egotistic asshole who was a coward. said he had to break up with her because his family would never accept her being not white (she's a halfu)
>a guy she knew from high school. they went on a few dates, he lovebombed her, she felt this rush of emotions, they had sex, then he ghosted her. she said it was such a horrible feeling having sex with someone she didn't have a real connection with, like it felt like she was giving a part of herself to someone that didn't deserve it.

like I appreciate her being comfortable enough to share these vulnerable thoughts and experience with me, but for whatever reason it's fucking with me on the day to day and I can't get these thoughts of her being with these horrible people out of my head. I see her dressed in a cute sundress and I'm thinking oh no those bfs saw her like that. she sends me links to cute couples activities and I think ah fuck she probably did all this shhit with those terrible people too. the worst is last night when she was going down on my going all sloppy and im thinking oh shit did she do this to that guy she knew from high school (she even knew something was up because I instantly lost my erection when that intrusive thought same to me but i said I just had to pee)
>>
>>24729341
His apartment reeked of death and he was a known multiple-offence sex offender who was at one point caught with one of his victims (who was the brother of a boy he had drugged & molested) right before he murdered him. There was a lot of oversight and neglect.
>>
>>24729355
It must have been fairly trivial to be a serial killer 50+ years ago. Nowadays, at least in more decent parts of the world, that has to be rough pull.
>>
>>24729191
I only posted on there a maximum of three times because everyone was so insufferable there.
>>
>>24729329
I think the fact that he was kind of a lolcow in school probably contributed to it. homosexuality aside, most people when they're kids can't handle understanding what someone is going through and instead gang up on the poor kid because anyone who steps out of line is ostracized and no kid wants to be "that kid" Le Bon's "The Crowd" talks a lot about this and the book has never really been disproven since the day it was published.

So I saw a guy from my neighborhood again with his kid. I remember him from when I was a teen, he used to play basketball on the local court, although very rarely. I saw him in church last time I went. Anyway, its midday on a weekday and hes just hanging out with his kid. He seems to have very calm demeanour.
And whenever I see him, I cant help but wonder...why did things work out for him and didnt for me? Im a good guy, im sure he is a good guy too but I really dont think hes better than me. I think its just the circumstances that are different. He lives in a house, his family is most likely well off although obviously not rotten about money. My family is sort of poor. My dad has always been a hard character with many negative traits. His dad was probably functional and supportive.
I had a hard life so far. Not many things worked out for me well. No matter how much I try to do the right thing and try to be kind to other people, life and people in my life spit in my face. My sister is a psycho and i dont talk to her, dad is mentally ill and now he has become physically ill too. I dont have a job, but when I do its soul crushing and leaves me completely empty and used and burnt out. That guy has a kid and he doesnt even have a job, he has a loving wife yet he walks around with them in worktime. On a purely inertial basis, things simply worked out for him. And no matter how much I try, how much I put myself out there, i get a rejection...silence...humiliation....solitude...poverty...mockery....failure.
No matter what i try i lose. I tried going abroad, i tried countless hobbies, classes, sports, friendgroups, i tried praying all the time and going to church and reading Bible, i tried pursuing art, i tried different professions, nothing worked out for me, i gained no friends, no money and i never had a gf.
I dont ask for everything that that guy has, i just want to know why? Why did things work out for him and not for me? Is there a reason why I suffered so much? Will something good come on my path later?

Start with Smith, Ricardo, Locke. Not in that order but you're smart you'll figure it out. Then Malthus and Hobbes if you're curious.
After that you can read the economical side of Marx's works.
Then after the utilitarians, get into modern economics.

The idea that inceldom can be explained away by the supposed fact that many men are merely unaware of subtle expressions of love by women is a massive gigacope. If such an idea arose as a protective act of self-delusion, it would be pitiable, but passing it as "advice" to others, as I have often seen in Normo Erectus social life, makes me rage
>>
>>24730577
I think it's mostly caused by interpreting females in general as a separate species, with wh40k optimal race stratagems, working as a conglomerate whole against them, possibly commanded by some goddess empress, while most females got lost at the acronym in this sentence

There's nothing left for me here. I know that. I've known that for at least a couple of years. I still come here.
It's just a waste. Maybe at some point it wasn't, but now it's just drudgery, like watching a show you don't really enjoy or going out with friends you feel alienated from. Just burning my time away like firewood.
The question is: what to do, instead? 4chan protected me from life when I was young, neglected and trapped under unfavourable circumstances. As a side-effect, I never learned how to live. It's just a crutch now, and it has been since my early twenties.
Live, anon. Live.
I really want to, I just don't know how/am afraid/don't trust myself/don't trust the world/am a failure.
It's hard.

Consciousness has made many humans arrogant. They believe they are special because they can think, that they are somehow not a biological mechanism that eats, shits, and fucks, that these biological processes do not in fact rule their existence from birth until death. You are not exempt. You are not different from any other human. You're not even really any different from any other living thing. If these words make you uncomfortable or angry or dismissive or derisive it is because you are poisoned by conceit. It is because you don't want to be reminded that you are an ambulant digestive tract with some genitals attached and that these are the only components of you that actually matter.

that started out as a jibe but maybe you really are gay. for me how much I like going to bed with a girl depends how much I like her (ie if I’m in love).

now THAT'S gay lmao

Literally because she's still my closest friend and I don't want her to die. It's not like we'll ever be okay, I just can't see someone that way then stop caring. It is murdering me tbqh

Friend of mine has now been in his relationship with a whore (50+ bodycount) for 4 years. I guess there really is nothing stopping women from just riding the cock carousel 24/7 for a couple years and then at some point going "I'm ready to settle down now". Men will take anything.

except it’s the opposite of gay isn’t it. a girl once told good looking guys basically never cheat, it’s weird-looking bisexual-coded ones.

A bunch of brittish musicians and artists at the time used to carry small plants in their pockets while in public. Some Rolling Stones journalist insisted that they were doing it as a way to stand up for environmentalism by being "outspokenly Emmersonian", but I am pretty sure that the idea came from a misintranslation of Bauldelaire which was popular among said types back then. Tbh, Morrissey was probably just taking the piss out of the guys who went around carrying that shit, instead of doing it unironically.

With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him. He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks; Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life. Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

Friend of mine got into a relationship with a girl who was insecure and had no life, built her up and supported her for months. When she got better she cucked him. Nowadays he resents women. He also resents Chads, clearly out of envy.
Friend of mine is in a relationship with a fat woman who has cutting scars, shitty cartoon tattoos, piercings and short danger-hair. She is also obsessed with xitter and acts like it is real life. The first time I met her she proceeded to get drunk and throw up on the floor, destroy some glasses and furniture during his housewarming party. Was apparently an easy lay and fucked a lot of guys before meeting him.
Friend of mine exclusively dates and chases women who pretty much have "thot" tattooed on their faces and is constantly emotionally unstable after being ghosted, cheated on, left haging or used as a living-wallet by them.
Former friend of mine has no self-esteem and considers himself a commie feminist. Exclusively dates liberals who make his life a living hell. Decided to make the latest his fiance.
Friend of mine dated some manic pixie girl since his teens and after asking for her hand in marriage she made him cut contact with all of his friends, which he did. There was also a rumor about her cheating on him during a party, although she convinced him it wasn't true.
Friend of mine got a girlfriend pregnant. Decided to step up and build a life together since he loved her and wanted to give their kid a stable life. She dumped him about a year latter on christmas eve. Why? Because she wanted to party and sleep around for a few more years. This was ages ago and he still loves her.
I dated a couple BPDemons and have been single since breaking up with the last one years ago.
Shit's ugly out there.

yeah i bet he even had to take her to dinner a few nights in a row before he managed to bag her too. women make me sick. our society basically doesn't punish them for being whores at all. no social stigma around it, diseases are easily avoided, and some beta cuck is willing to provide for her whenever she's ready. whores must be PUNSIHED. they must be chained, beaten and whipped. they should be jailed.
>>
>>24731365
If you're a woman and can't get a guy you should honestly just transition.
>>
>>24731371

>>

Basic problem with women right prove me wrong

>hot ones: evil
>still hot but kind of sweaty and trackpantsy ones: nice people but come with kids and redneck boyfriends all over

Is this not a pattern?
>>
>>24731409
No, because ultimately what you're really paying for is their time. You could ask them to play Halo with you if you wanted.
>>
I have a bad addiction of watching TV shows I've already seen before. It lets me relax and pass the time. Pass the time... more like waste my time. Waste my life. I should get rid of all the screens in my room. I want to get back to when I was reading and writing for several hours a day, when reading less than 200 pages a day was a failed day. Someone come and save me from my television purgatory.
>>
>>24731466
It is a bit more than that though, it's a grey area. I could give you a tenner to play vidya with me and it wouldnt be yhe same

>tfw not quite eros
>tfw not quite totally platonic either
>tfw not looking to put my penis anywhere but a guy wont do the job

What do I offer to pay for this? Everything ot nothing? I might just go back to that hotel and ask that obviously lesbian barmaid gor my bag back.
>>
>>24731480
I didn't mean hiring anyone was the equivalent of hiring a sex worker, I just meant you can whatever you want with a sex worker. Sex is available but you can do whatever else so long as you're paying for their time. You can pay her to have dinner with you, join you for a party, read books to you, swim around with you in a pool, or just conversate. Like I said, you're paying for their time with an option for sex. Same rates though, sex or not, unless you try asking and negotiating first I guess.

I haven't found this to be true. Cute attractive women can go either way, beautiful women are pure evil. Speaking of which, newest update on the whore/wife situation. She called me up in tears and when I called her back a 'Russian' guy picked up like 'she is busy' and hung up. Now obviously I am quite drunk and I know where she/we live - would it be funny if I got a cab over there and caused some trouble? a few days ago i wrote a comment about how people who are still attached to anonymous posting in 2025 are mentally ill, and that every healthy person has already moved on to having small, closed-off circles with friends who they can discuss their interests with instead. unfortunately, i failed that bar. since the age of 16 (when my mental illness got very bad), virtually all my socializing has taken place anonymously, and on the couple occasions where i did make friends it just didn't work out. it is rare for broken people to admit they are broken because they're so steeped in self-defense mechanisms, but i will gladly admit to you i'm broken, and despite all my attempts to change, nothing has worked. i feel like a person with no arms or legs cast into a well at birth and told to climb back out. there is no anger, resentment, confusion, or longing. i'm just striving every day to escape, like a POW.
>>
>>24731688
Look, last time I was on the receiving end of a cheating partner, I was fortunate enough to have friends I could talk to, which I did plenty, believe me, plus I wasn't browsing 4chan that year. But if I didn't have the friends and was browsing 4chan, yeah, I could see myself having made some kind of post if not several at the time. My point is I understand the impulse, and I'm surprised you do not. That's what this thread is for, miscellanea from /lit/ posters. My only regulation is people who don't read shouldn't post here.

Terrible take my friend, theres a billion places to seek small comunities if thats truly your choice, whats wrong with having this one, singular place to shitpost and exercise for freedom? I already have a gf with whom I've built a life for the past 8 years and a group or loyal irl friends I've known for 16. I also have a positive outlook on life despite my chronic illness; am I mentally ill for posting frogs, giving feeeback to writers, and shitalking Sanderson and Hegel? Surely making such sweeping statements as you do is bound to produce a falsehood.

>Searchers after horror haunt strange, far places. For them are the catacombs of Ptolemais, and the carven mausolea of the nightmare countries. They climb to the moonlit towers of ruined Rhine castles, and falter down black cobwebbed steps beneath the scattered stones of forgotten cities in Asia. The haunted wood and the desolate mountain are their shrines, and they linger around the sinister monoliths on uninhabited islands. But the true epicure in the terrible, to whom a new thrill of unutterable ghastliness is the chief end and justification of existence, esteems most of all the ancient, lonely farmhouses of backwoods regions; for there the dark elements of strength, solitude, grotesqueness, and ignorance combine to form the perfection of the hideous.

Isn't it ironic how the idea of empathy occupies such a central role in modern western ideas of ethics and morality when empathy is far more akin to love insofar that it is wholly amoral? Empathy, like love, can only be an is, not an ought or ought not, one either feels it or one doesn't, it is impossible to make oneself feel it out of any sense of obligation, or to deny it when felt because society says one shouldn't. It exists beyond the spectrum of good and evil or conscious influence.

This isn't really evidenced. You're going to have to define your terms and provide your reasoning, because otherwise you could substitute chocolate or protein powder for empathy and have the same weight of argument.
>>
>>24731817
I'm pretty fucking dumb so forgive me, but I was thinking about empathy after that shooting thing the other week. Kirk was probably misquoted but even if not- surely empathy is just a surplus of information about another person? If you can't handle it and wish to dehumanise the subject surely that's your own failure and not theirs?

I've sometimes thought about just hitting "fuck it" and finding a woman to bear me a child. I want children, I especially want a son, but I can't seem to get a girlfriend, let alone a wife. But I think I know a girl who'd bear me children if I asked her to and we came to some sort of arrangement; an old flame of mine that I'm still on good terms with who already has a daughter by another man.

It would be totally mercenary but there's a kind of cold-blooded part of me that finds that appealing. I want children. I want a son. This chick feels like somebody I could, if not trust, at least make a deal with. Maybe it would work.

But then my rational faculties always kick in and I realize what a shitshow the whole thing would be, and how high the potential for disaster would be, for me personally, even IF I got a son out of it.

The thing is I'm the only male left in my family. My dad's brother has had only daughters, and I myself have no brothers to have sons; I'm the only son my father had. If I don't have a son my family name and line dies out. And I like my family, I like my name and line. My family is a good family and I'd like to continue it with a son to carry on the name and lineage.

I keep trying to actually get married and start a family but it keeps going to shit every time I try, so my thoughts have increasingly turned rather mercenary in terms of a successor.

I wonder how humans instinctually know that an embrace cures the peculiar ache of loneliness. I have never felt good being hugged; as early as I can remember, even as a six-year-old boy, I recall recoiling from hugs and feeling sickness welling in my stomach as arms tightened around me. Though hugs were infrequent—perhaps once a year occurences—each time they would happen, I would feel only indifference or discomfort. Yet at some point during my teenage years, though I had no way to understand it, I would feel the peculiar tension in my body, the tightness in my chest and aches that radiated down my back that I, by instinct alone, knew could only be cured by someone wrapping their arms around me. It never happened, of course. I have never hugged, held hands, kissed, or engaged in any physical touch in my entire life. I only know that it would cure it. I just want to know what particular physiological mechanism informs the body that it needs to be touched, and why.

Without straying too far into politics: Why is it that contemporary literature, especially literature discussed by critics on television programs, always has a slightly left-wing political slant, either because the topics fit into that spectrum or because the authors themselves are somehow “diverse”? Is it precisely about highlighting a wide variety of perspectives, or is it simply a consequence of the personal attitudes of those who select the literature for presentation? I mean, this aspect is not decisive for me when it comes to the quality of a book, but perhaps the selection is simply not particularly interesting to me.

I think it averages from the far ends of the bell curve. I've seen surprising wisdom and bottom barrel retardation there.

Well, stuff like diaspora literature has a pretty obvious cause. Same with topics of identity and sexuality. These are just the topics writers and readers find relevant right now, and they're not wrong. It's not like there's fiction about, say, increasing taxes on the rich lol or universal single-payer healthcare in the US. So are these topics really political and progressive?

What I will grant is you couldn't write about these topics from the opposite perspective -- say, a novel about a white character having a personal crisis and musing on spiritual decay because they no longer live in a community full of people like them, ie there's too many immigrants and Muslims and people who don't speak English and people dressing outwardly homosexual in public.

It is more than likely influenced by the intellectual disenfranchisement of the right, and the nature of the current literature scene. Literature hasn't always been left-wing, it more or less reflects the cultural attitudes of the dominant institution, for example Catholic virtues in the West or Muslim during the Islamic Golden Age. Finding a publisher for a 'transgressive' novel about a white male experiencing racial violence and oppression in a majority-minority would be little less than impossible. Even more is that rightists turn away from academic institutions which are actively hostile towards right wing views, or are pushed out, and naturally turn away from literature as a result. This has the added effect of making literature seem gay, retarded, and leftist (and modern literature is) only further exacerbating the issue.

I think, however, good literature always tends to be slightly deviant from its host culture. This can easily be mistaken for leftism if "leftism" is merely defined as "different" or rightism as "tradition," both being immensely stupid. I'd even say that modern literature fails precisely because it is too conformist, too uniform, too orthodox in its reiteration of the same old themes of minority oppression and/or bourgeois malaise.

To clarify and emphasize my point: to white, heterosexual men, I can see why themes of immigrant diaspora in Western countries, sexuality, and identity would appear as 'political,' but look at it from their perspective: these are the fundamental elements of the human condition today which require introspection, explication (aka displaying it in art), and a voice. Same with the crisis of God in the early and middle 20th century, for example. You might argue it's not a universal theme, and that's another topic we could go down, but I don't see how it's inherently political is all I'm saying, despite many viewing it as such.

You're better off

The biggest blackpill of all is realizing that every women on earth is a vapid whore and you're better off alone. The psychological torment men must endure to be with some fat bitch in this age is unprecedented, and you can see all the cope they dream up in this very thread. Imagine finally getting some fat bitch gf and then contendeding with her past as a massive slut. "Even her?" You might ask, the answer to which will always be "yes". Having to live with the fact that the mother of your children acted like a free call girl for chads in uni turns your insides out.

Be happy alone. Its much easier than dealing with this life of humiliation providing for some reformed slut.

I am only loved when I act like a clown. Then I am loved well by others. When I do not act like a clown my mood is called into question and I am presumed troubled. I guess that means I play the clown well. But I am not a clown. I am a serious person who only acts like a clown so that I will be loved.

One day, I had this thought, what if my reality is just a dream? It felt more like a realization rather than just a stray thought. It was like a very grim realization that I wasn't prepared to handle in any way. If my reality is a dream, then that means everyone is a projection of my unconscious psyche, so I started to panic. The feeling of loneliness hit me hard. I heard the phrase "dark night of the soul" before, and I didn't know what that phrase was supposed to mean, but for some reason it rang true in my head in that moment.
Any of you guys know about this idea I had? have you ever thought about this before?

Why are tips based on the percentage of the cost? That doesn't make sense to me. For example, a $10 plate of food vs a $200 plate of food is the same amount of work to deliver to the table for the waitress. There's no added value in what the waitress does with the $200 plate of food.
>>
>>24733000
I think the logic behind it is that if you're rich enough to pay for $300 worth of food, you're rich enough to tip more than a dollar.

According to Descartes, a good God proves that solipsism isn't real. But the God of the Old testament doesn't really sound like a good God, but the God of the new testament does
So how can I know if God is good? If God isn't good, then solipsism might be true, according to Descartes at least
This is like one of the reasons why I started looking into gnosticism, because it doesn't really make sense to me that the God of the Old testament is supposed to be good

I am 34 and 4 years ago I took the "build some shit on your own" pill and quit my dead-end job. I opened a shop for something I liked and it did (and does) good. I had enough to get a small but decent salary but I decided to hire somebody and open a second shop thinking I would wait a bit more before funneling some money to me. It opened last month and it's been slow. I am very frightened and growing impatient. I have not felt this shook since my teens. If it all works I will be good. If it fails I will be in very deep shit. I will do my best. Please pray for me, please, give me the strength, I just wanted to feel something and now I really fucking do.

Do I hate being around people because I hate being around my family and I just naturally assume everyone is just like them if I get to know them long enough? Or is it because I operate on a different wavelength than most and have yet to find someone of my kind, somewhere I belong? One thing is for certain, if I spend more time with selfish conceited retards Imma go blasting

Socially maladjusted people tend to project their behavior on others. Meaning that, if your family was anything like I imagine it is, they pretty much taught you misanthropy-lite for the day you were born.
I suggest reading about narcissism, narcissistic parenting and complex ptsd. Even if you or your family don't fit those criteria, reading about it will challenge some views you have about others and the place they come from.

Why do normies decide they are going to no contact their own family for having different political opinions? Like "I think gays are unnatural and stupid" or "Jews should all get gassed" or "abortion is good" or "Trump is bad", therefore, "I fucking hate you grandpa never talk to me".

All I'm saying is my last workplace had an antifa and a nazi and they were able to have converse casually. I don't care if you want all white ppl to get cucked or you hate men or women or whatever. If you're funny and conversational we can chill. I don't fucking care. Even if what I am is offensive to you or what I say is it doesn't matter. Why would it matter? And with your own family as well disowning because you're not religious or anti-trump or something. WHO CARES?
>>
>>24733587
they probably hated their family already and political opinions just give them the excuse they were looking for so they can feel righteous instead of assholish for ghosting their f a m

How would you know it was a dream?
There's no physical boundary between a dreaming world and a waking world. Both extend, for all practical purposes, infinitely. Likewise, there is no boundary between dreamtime and waking time - an indefinite amount of time in the past in the dream would never be the same time as any given moment in waking time. There is no particular quality of any particular object which would tell you whether it was an object of a dream or an object of the waking world. You could not even reference your own memories or cognitive state to say whether you were dreaming or not - after all, you could be aware and thinking thoughts in a dream, while your "waking" self slept and was unable to experience the waking world.
What I'm getting at is that the space within which dreams take place is the *same* space within which the waking world takes place - that is, the horizon of experience, or the container inside of which waking or dreaming experience takes place, is the same, regardless of its content. This is known to some as the "personal horizon," and it encompasses all of "this" - your entire world, your life, everything which could be said to be "yours."
The dream hypothesis cannot be finally and formally proven or disproven - after all, how could any piece of evidence inside a dream relate in any way to what is outside the dream, given what is stated above? - but thinking in terms of the personal horizon helps avoid common pitfalls in thinking about phenomenological experience, which lead one to make statements like "I would know I was dreaming because things would feel dreamlike!" or the like.
For a very thorough investigation of this topic, check out Dream, Death, and the Self by J.J. Valberg, whose arguments on the topic are far more articulate than I am able to reproduce here.
