Goodreads women are always into true crime, YA novels, or both.Why don't people ever think about how fucking exploitative and gross true crime shit is to consume? I love really gruesome horror fiction but when I've tried to read true crime or watch true crime shows I just think "Damn, these were real people that really died in horrible ways, I don't feel good consuming this as entertainment."
