A friend keeps urging me to read this. I know the premise. Is it actually going to be entertaining or interesting? Will it be thought-provoking? Or just a bunch of racist drivel?

You don't need to read it to know that every person with brown skin should be shot. It feels like an exercise in futility to read it, frankly; I know what it recommends, I know what it suggests should be done, and I already agree with it. It doesn't need to convince me and anybody it would convince is already onboard with its main idea, and nobody who wouldn't be convinced by it will read it to begin with.It's basically useless to try to convince people to read it. You should just start saying "Do you agree with exterminating the brown people in the West," because that will get more directly to the point, and you can skip the whole rigamarole of having anybody pretend they actually care about Raspail's book.

Brilliant because in spite of being written in 1973 (basically the middle-ages) it precisely describes what is currently happening in Europe : the invasion of a continent by a multitude of third world wretches.
