Stop wasting your SFF stories by posting them on 4chan. Write a short story once a week or once a month and try your hand at making it as a writer. The chances are slim, even if you have talent, but you will get paid if you send to these places. Don't look back once you make your first sale.

Nice, now I can collect more rejection slips, thanks anon

So has anyone here actually read any of these? Which are good?

Picture this, an ordinary town, an ordinary day, an ordinary man. Enter Anon Anonson, the most average man in the world. Even he thinks he's average, but little does he know that he lives...in The Indian Zone
Hundreds of Indians pouring into the country while the government assures him everything is fine
Houses destroyed, people in homeless camps, while the politicians get rich off investments. A more terrifying world cannot be imagined, but such is life, in The Indian Zone

Since I doubt that even OP actually reads these publications I'm giving some of their latest fiction a try and judging them based on that.

>Clarkesworld
"ABSTRACTION IS WHEN I DESIGN GIANT DEATH CREATURES AND ATTRACTION IS WHEN I DO IT FOR YOU" - Unreadable.

"WIREWORKS" - Fun, but the characters act like cartoon characters and the story left me wondering if the writer realizes how dystopic the utopia they came up with is.

"Four People I Need You to Kill Before the Dance Begins" - The bad title almost made me skip this one. It was the boring writing that sealed the deal. Unreadable.

Verdict: Eh, go ahead and submit, couldn’t hurt.

Thanks, anon. Been working on a short story would lend itself nicely to one of these magazines. I didn't really know where to look as it isn't the kind of thing I usually write, so this thread has helped me quite a lot. Now it's time to finish the story.
