I like reading physical books but I'm pretty poor and half the time I want to read a book I can't find it for under 40 or 50 bucks. I can't afford to spend 300+ dollars a month on books.
I love my Kobo Ellipse

>>24742289You can read and study a tree, a river, a painting, manuscripts, a city, a mountain, a computer, a book. Scorning other media is a skill issue. Yes, I do it too. I also have skill issues.
>>24742425this, I buy most of my books 2nd hand. especially classics you can often find very cheap in good condition.
>>24742425Don't use Abe unless they describe the actual book they're selling or, even better, have non-stock photos. I've bought "very good" books with mildew or underlines/highlights on every page. Their return policy also sucks, YOU need to pay return shipping, which is usually about the same price as a used paperback, so it's pointless. And there's no way to review stores either, the star system is just a percentage of people who returned their book. Thriftbooks is better since if something doesn't match the description, they'll pay return shipping.
