There has yet to be a single zoomer who has created a great work of art or a great novel and the fact that it hasn't happened yet can only lead me to conclude that art itself will perish in our lifetime
shouldn’t take authors younger than 35 seriously. I don’t.
neither has any millennial. whats your point exactly?
Honor Levy
It’s that dang yik yak. These fools need to hit the books. No more Dances and Vertical videos
>>24745376nepo zionist propaganda doesn’t count as a work of art.
>>24745370Works of genius are typically only recognized in retrospect. The great works which will come to define the milennial or zoomer generations are, most likely, languishing in obscurity at the moment
>>24745370Just wait for me
>>24745382I wrote five books of philosophy and im 43. Not sure why I haven't been recognized yet
>>24745392maybe you'll get really famous after your death
>>24745392are they novel ideas? invent an idiom.
>>24745370zoomers know there's no point in trying, since exposure is based entirely on connections and algorithmic manipulation.
>wake up>masturbate>tiktok/vidya/porn>maybe eat something>tiktok/vidya/porn>masturbate>go to sleepI mean, it's not like you can really transform such a life experience into something worth writing about, I rather read the yapping of the great minds of the last century or two than write my own diary that nobody wants to read
>>24745376TPBP OP blown the fuck out
>>24745374But millennials are still young and it's the boomers fault anyways.
>>24745376lmao as if
>>24745397Somewhat. Im continuing a tradition set forth by Schopenhauer which academia tried to destroy through favoritism in Hegel. Hegel, while useful, is the philosophy of ivory towerism, in which critical theory, decolonialism and feminist theory infested, trying to change history by killing the author who was a white man. Schopenhauer knew that women ultimately undermine civilization and thats why academia has done their best to silence him. Incel Uber Alles et al...
And the millennial great work of art? Bl*cked
>>24745376>this person's name translates to "respect a tax"who in their right fucking mind
>>24745440Meds
>>24745459cope more chungus
>>24745376Millennial
People thought Da Vinci was just an eccentric fag during his lifetime. It takes a few years of retrospection for genius to be recognized.
>>24745458Publicans
>>24745477But he was an eccentric fag THOUGH
>>24745376Actual dogshit that further proves OP's point.
>>24745435Kek Chudism
>>24745398I think this is a major part of it. There is probably great work languishing in obscurity, but writers, musicians etc in this generation are a lot more aware of and cynical about "the industry". They realize "making it" is a game where the actual quality of your work is only of minor importance and a lot of them are simply choosing not to play. The contemporary writer has lottery odds of being noticed by more than a dozen people, and if he is, his reward is a few thousand dollars and having his entire life combed over in twitter witch hunts.

>>24745370We will all die as we and those younger than us completely fail to keep the industrial system going. We will all die of war or starvation or suicide and in 100 years we will be back at late 1800’s to early 1900’s levels of technological development with some horrifying dystopian cyberpunk tech sprinkled in here and there.
>>24745427>But millennials are still youngfunniest thing ive read on this site in months
>>24745564the west will obviously die and then china will reign supreme but it will have a huge class divide style infrastructure kowloon or chongqing style where the poor working class lives on the lower levels while the rich live in the upper parts of the vertical cities
>>24745593Fire travels upwards
>>24745596doesnt make the working classes from tearing down the skyscrapers with all the billionaire jews in them right now, does it?
Blame boomers for forcing the world even deeper into materialism and ultra fast-paced hedonism. Gen z was forced into a dogshit situation created by dogshit generations of people
>>24745564This seems pretty much a lock
Have millennials written anything worth a damn?
>>24745370art was for the aristocracy, not the masses
>we're going to remove art from it's high culture pedestal and return it to le people>uh wtf why are there no high culture celebrity art no more?
>>24745564Anon the late 1800s were still industrial. You'd need to look back to the 1700s or 1600s.
>>24745593Yeah that would be kino thoughhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJfaUcy4clg

>>24745773Babel
>>24745374>neither has any millennial
>>24745370What would the great zoomer novel be about? What would actually make you want to read it?
>>24745922something that finally solves the nihilist malaise everyone is washed in nowadays.
>>24745370Isnt it because they are all 6 years old?
>>24745947It’s Islam
>>24745413>it's not like you can really transform such a life experience into something worth writing aboutI'd read a book about the life of a modern day NEET but no one has written that novel yet.
>>24746505Yes a good writer could do a good modern novel about this, but he wouldn't be a NEET in the first place probably.
>>24745392Have you considered the possibility that your books aren't good? I'm not even trying to be a dick, but it is something to consider
>>24746505Books like Notes From Underground and No Longer Human are similar in themes with what modern NEET lit would likely be, but both of them are carried by their prose to help make inherently unlikeable characters more palatable to audiences.I imagine that's the challenge of this book in the modern era, it requires high writing ability, lived experience, and a person in that circumstance whose power level isn't so high that it prevents their own publication as a reflex

>>24745370When does one know when to stop reading, and instead start writing?
>>24745564I feel like all young people the world over are cognizant of roughly the same things, especially the war part. But if no one wants war, then who shall fight it? I think we worry about a future that no one except the already dead and dying wish to bring about.

>>24746951Write until you need to read for reference. You don't read for "inspiration," you read for research. What you read has a direct translation to what you write. Be mindful of this. Act with intent.

>>24747556What other solution is there to the fact that our current civilizational model adheres to an omnicidal ideological worldview that will likely lead to suicidal extinction of humanity
>>24745371Not quite true. Plenty of great writers (Melville, Faulkner) did great work in their early 30s.However, I've yet to find any great book written by a 20-something.
That honor belongs to me. Unironically
>>24748302The Gods themselves are aghast.
>>24745370The oldest zoomer is 30, which means they likely haven't had the opportunity to write a great novel yet. Also the literary landscape is nearly nonexistent, people don't respect literature so culturally the conditions needed to write a great novel are absent for zoomers. I'm 25 and working on a pretty good novel atm, but taking my time with it. It's not a great novel but I have high hopes for it, especially if I'm able to get it published. >>24746505My novel is about a NEET but it's more of a benefit fraud NEET than a socially inept shut-in.
>>24745370I'm still learning but if I live long enough you'll say what I can give.
>forced to grow up in zogged up nigger hellWhat do you expect? The last thing the world deserves right now is a beautiful piece of art.
