An eraser is a sign of a weak will. Shan't be using that.

master race. thick, dark lines, smooth writing feel. they both have a tendency to skip if the ink gets too cold though

Bic Crystal is pure perfection. Given any other choice I would take a Bic.

Zebra G-402 0.5mm in black.
Pictured is an F-402 0.7mm in blue, because I work in a regulated industry that doesn't allow gel or black ink, and I can't get the retards in procurement to understand that tip diameter matters.

i use some $5 gel thing i don't know the name of. isn't dry when i open it, doesn't care about my angle, dries in half a second so it doesn't smudge on my hand, pretty thin and very consistent. light, never lost grip. plebeian i guess but i don't know what more i'd want.

also i tried some pencil and i really don't get it. i have to turn the thing 90° every three letters to keep it sharp and manageable? holy fuck. intolerable. don't know how i kept sane through primary school.

my workplace had those, so i took one and it separated into its single, individual pieces in my pocket in less than ten minutes. brought my own pens after that.

Ideal for both writing and sketching... you can't go wrong

pilot g2 7mm, a thing of beauty. Been using them for a decade

>7mm
i appreciate the recommendation but that is much too large for me. looking it up what i have now is 0.4 and i actually need something smaller.

>for writing
Fountain pen. I like that there is no grey area between writing and not writing, if you stop for more than a few seconds you either put the cap on and actually stop and consider things or end up with the ink drying in the nib. So if I stop, I stop, I put the cap on and think before resuming instead of sitting there with pen poised ready to go off on any half baked path that seems good in the moment.
>for notes
Pigma Micron in various colors and thicknesses. Used to draw a lot but stopped, started using them for notes just to use them up and it stuck.
>for everything else
What ever is handy.
