Does anyone have a chart for the Irish Hegelian witch's book club?

>>24761024I know the greentext is probably fake and gay, but is Serrano worth reading? I'm interested in checking out one of his books, but a lot of it just seems like a schizo pseudo-mythology, although that impression only comes from hearsay and I'm open to being proven wrong.
>>24762217Greentext author here. Poster of: >>24762067 I can assure you I am a fag like you but it is all too real and straight. As far as Serrano goes, I think his book on Hesse and Jung is least crazy and best work of his. Only read that and a few others tho. But still. Before all the nazism if not mistaken, an early work methinks.>captcha: JEW3D
>>24762252Tell the rest of the story
>>24761024She is grooming you anon. Is she hot?
>>24762267I am an old millenial. But she as boomerrss is not fertile enough for my tastes. If she was a decade or two younger,:: I would go for it however.>>24762259The dream/nightmare continues. She has dispelled me of every dogmatic analytic perspective I once held, by means of an almost dogmatic and analytic argumentation herself. Most recently, she demonstrated a proof for the possibility of bilocation as well as the existence of soul as a non-physical body of energetic fields using a secondary work on Ulrich called The Physics and Metaphysics of Transibstantiation. She also made cryptic references to my dreams recently several times, I can only suspect she is playing with my immortal soul at this point. I just cannot tell if I should become Catholic as per my forefathers or follow her down whatever horrifying yet fascinating strain of gnosticism it seems she is ultimately leading me up to. She claims that I remind her of her dead husband. She has a child a generation younger than I. Male. I am afraid I will meet him at some point.
>>24762291Did her husband die before you were born? If so, and if she was able to present a formal proof of reincarnation, then maybe you're the reincarnation of her husband
>>24762291I've had some eerie paranormal shit in my life, but it was never as fun. I'd avoid her if I were you, but dive headfirst if I were me. Or maybe not. She seems too aggressive and her agenda is unclear.
>>24762307Anon here. Sorry for typos. She believes time is nonlinear anyway, but, honestly, I think my best solution is to move using my NEETbux somehow and slowly ghost her. I do think I will becomeChristian soon regardless. Homo Abyssus was highly convincing. But do not wish to have her nefarious influence on my decision. Howsoeverbeit, she may visit my dreams for ancient sorceries and whatnot, yet I do feel I must move on soon and not fall for her illusionism. Mostly bc lease expires and rent is going up >\<>>24762323She is hardly more prosperous than me. Gets by on various grifts. Tarot, herbs, crystals, the like....If she could be a srs sugamama I might be more tempted hah.
>>24762067Thanks, anon. I’ll get back to you in 5 years once I’ve finished these works. >>24762291Thanks for the update, anon. We’re rooting for you.Realistically, how difficult is Homo Abyssus? It sounds fascinating and almost an endgame to my philosophical study
>>24762367Homo Abyssus is tough. DC Schindler is a generous translator however. He explicates many references to Heidegger and Hegel. Most notably technical German terms. He does have however a habit of leaving Latinisms and Greekisms untranslated sometimes or used as technical terms mostly as reference to Aquinas or Augustine. Schindler's secondary work is quite good too, however. As is communio volume and lectures (see yt link), albeit communio takes a while to ship conference volume. And IIRC there is a glossary and precis at end of HA by Schindler if wish to read that before main text without grabbing secondary.
>>24761024Bumping bc of the presence of the man himself. I have saved this greentext in multiple formats and have had it for years
>>24762355christian good Since this is the lit board, Chesterton is my favorite Christian writer. When I started to doubt, his 'Orthodoxy' kept me in. Ignore all the metaphysics. They dont matter. Metaphysics doesn't matter.. What matters is the joy/dopamine/pleasure you get from life. So what if Christianity isn't even true? The pleasure derived from consuming the Eucharist inoculates the soul from seeking the other pleasures that may be harmful, and it unites humans across time and space.. Tell that to your hegalian witch lady.
>>24762575>Tell your neighbor that ackshually epicureanism is correctI have a feeling that wouldn't go far
Wow...
>>24762575>What matters is the joy/dopamine/pleasureNah that doesn't matter either
>>24762416Thanks anon. The lectures have been helpful so far but it seems I really need to read and understand Heidegger's metaphysics (if that's even possible) before I try to tackle this
>>24762355Are the grifts at least somewhat good quality? Like, if I want to buy some tea and a necklace from an insane spiritual lady. Can you drop at least your state or something so I can try to search them out?
>>24762067Wait a sec, she recommended you read Evola's Hermetic Tradition? The one on alchemy? I may have to revisit it, but it seemed a bit meh at the time I read it.
>>24762575>Catholic hedonThats a new one
Women are weird
>>24762355If you think she's a human or fairy, ghosting is the right way to go. If you think she is an evil demon of some kind DO NOT GHOST HER, you must banish her properly. If you aren't sure if she's a fairy or demon, the best course of action is to bid her farewell with respect, then ghost. Ghost forever. Never respond. How she reacts will tell you which she is.
>>24762575Not a fan of Chesterton. Or Lewis really. Personal taste I suppose.>>24766142Heidegger for Ulrich is more clearing a space than anything constructed if that makes sense...>>24766159Her tarot is so frighteningly good I refuse to let her read it. Her teas do put me in a tea drunk state. But perhaps that is also her hypnotic quality. I am actually sober these days really. Asides from tobacco and caffeine.>>24766159It was an introductory piece to the subject. I have left out several works which I found useless or are unavailable.>>24768088I feel I ought become a desert father really. Pray for deliverance. The question of whether her heretical catholicism or orthodox catholicism at all seems secondary to all the philosophy which insists I must change my life as per Rilke/Sloterdijk (and Christ). Her theoretical ecstasies ring false somehow, faith must be more practically grounded IMO. Von Balthasaar is actually a good read to prep for Ulrich. And does precisely such a grounding in his smoller works.
1. learn greek2. start with Parmenides
>>24768361I feel you should have bought the rope instead of Homo Abyssus.
>>24768361What Von Balthasar would you recommend? Theo-drama looks like the most relevant and interesting of the bunch (for Ulrich, at least). Also curious if your read any other works by D.C. Schindler
>>24768371The suicide epidemic is related to the male loneliness epidemic. But more importantly, blame modernify (which is hardly modern).>>24768390Love Alone is Credible, Engagement w God, Anxiety, and Prayer are his best short ones. Have not read his Theo Drama and the like actually. That seems more a commitment of NEETbux than even HA. DC is good foo. His Love and Postmodern Condition is quite lovely.
