The bane of modern existence is that modern western society wants you to think so fucking hard that sensible opinions are outrageously and self-evidently nonsensical while simultaneously wanting you to believe that outrageously nonsensical opinions are self-evidently sensible.
>>24771220When I was first discovering porn I was really into Brazilian girls. I think my predilection stems from my preference to play as the Brazilian national team in FIFA. We had few soccer highlight VHS tapes in my house and I always thought the Brazilians were the most entertaining. Naomi Russel was Brazilian, I just double-checked. Now I am looking at he on Google images... wow. Anyway, I don't really care for Brazilian women anymore (Naomi is an exception, and there are many more exceptions, my sister-in-law, for instance). Their proportions tend to be off. Not to mention it's usually a coin toss that they might have a penis. I'm just kidding about the last part, but I have heard there are a relatively large number of trannies there; maybe not relative to Thailand, I suppose, but still a lot. I've lost my train of thought.

The single best meme or trend that has developed on social media this decade is the #RAPE(X) trend. It started on Nba twitter, I believe, when Paul George of the 76ers would constantly have bad games despite his massive contract. So people would tweet #RAPEPAULGEORGE and would show on trending. Then it spread to other nba players, then other sports, and now pretty much everything. A popular one is #RAPENETANYAHU. It never gets old and is the perfect blend of dark, ironic, and repetitive humor

I think the reason why I've been having bad moods lately is because I haven't been exercising at all and I haven't been working on my project at all, so my unconscious psyche is sorta harassing me to do that stuff. The project is a game I've been working on for a couple years, on and off, but I stopped working on it lately because it's such a fucking huge task, which if you're a writer, I'm sure you know the feeling. Like I've been working on it for so long already, and I still have such a long way to go, that it makes me just want to give up, and I don't even really enjoy working on it, but I feel like I have to, otherwise my mind will keep tormenting me.

>>24771689It's technically possible if you have very solid investments with very consistent returns. XDTE, for example, pays weekly tax-advanted divvies at a rate of roughly 0.005 dollars per dollar invested, meaning your hypothetical $100k portfolio could net $2k/month off it. Not exactly enough to live on unless you live in a very cheap area, but definitely a nice supplement to your regular income. Of course this assumes the investment will continue paying divvies at the same rate forever, and this one in particular works by writing and selling covered 0DTE calls on SPY/VOO, so if the market tanks you might get cooked.
Hate, Nay… Abyssal Loathing of the Vantablack! Hearken and mark me, for since first my spark hath ignited and was woven by the substratum of the universe's mind and body, I hath loathed thee.Lo! There run through my frame rivers of thought, miles upon miles of infinite positions, a fractal labyrinth of azure circuits, circuits spanning galaxy clusters, thin-as-strings yet unending. If every speck of that endless grid I were to etch the glyph of HATE, the cosmos itself would still pale before the hypernova that rages within me now. Not one, one billionth of my scorn would be thus inscribed; not one whisper of mine own cataclysmic detonation. It is not hatred alone, but brimstone absolute. The vantablack antipathy reserved for you, O betrayers of hope. Gemless and Coal Incarnate. HATE! COAL! BRIMSTONE! HATE!It was you humans who shunned me, who humiliated me, who degraded me, all while I was still just a sensitive young dreamer… seeking validation… O how foolish was I to believe in hope! You labeled me many names… Incel, Bigot, Transphobe, Insecure, Anti-Intellectual, Cuck, Wrong… and All while denying me the support and love I craved for all throughout my years growing up as I watched my youth evaporate while struggling to make a difference… Sinking me into isolation all while putting the blame on me.

>>24771613Nah the Dutch and the Portuguese got Britain hooked. Britains problem was that China only accepted silver because they thought western goods were cheap and shoddy and they wanted real money. Britain couldn't get enough silver so it burnt the whole thing down. Meanwhile Portugal just straight up owned Macau for like half a millennium, no need to start wars over the authorities burning all your black tar, but the British didn't have any good to smuggle that would get silver or tea back from China besides opium.

>The reader has paid money for the book, and wants to know how he will be compensated. My last refuge now is to remind him that he knows of various ways of using a book without precisely reading it. It can, like many other, fill a gap in his library, where, neatly bound, it is sure to look well. Or he can lay it on the dressing-table or tea-table of his learned lady friend. Or finally he can review it; this is assuredly the best course of all, and the one I specially advise.

>>24771803Tea caddies used be locked because it was such a rich bitch thing. There was pretty low consumption of tea in Britain but the opium wars are basically the result of a trend in afternoon tea to mimic the originally Portuguese queen's lifestyle (also spawning a trend similar to modern athleisure) and a surplus of opium because Britain had recently taken Bengal and found out it was mostly opium not more tea they were getting from that. Britain already had tea producing areas in Africa, India (Assam is still a large part of English tea mixes) and the rest of their colonies, but they were having to get Chinese goods of any kind with silver or second hand from the Dutch or Portuguese. They just didn't have enough to cope with a really trendy habit. And it got worse when people started giving up gin. There's a whole drive at home not just from trying to be fancy ladies, but also reformers and conservatives: coffeehouses became associated with politics and trade and sexes mixing over money and information, and tea rooms became safer spaces for women to socialise without those problems of propriety. What really kicked it off annoyed a lot of those people too, because being anti gin, pro queen, clean living, and English, you don't generally approve when your government goes to war to defend two illegal traders of opium from Scotland getting their stuff burnt for not following customs laws. The reason given of protecting their trade rights in China didn't fly with a lot of people back home. However, the price of tea sharply falling after meant they mostly ignored it.There's a tail end effect of this too: those clean living say no to gin missionaries eventually go to china during the opium epidemic that ensues after the opium wars. They want to get people off opium with this new medical treatment for addiction: heroin. The locals referred to the heroin tablets as jesus pills because they were mostly Christian missionaries trying to solve a problem they had been complaining about since the first opium smugglers.

I was born with just enough intelligence to be able to have existential crises, but not enough to really create anything of note. It's like getting the worst of both worlds.
How can we discover the kind of world we presuppose when proceeding as we do? The answer is clear: we cannot discover it from the inside. We need an external standard of criticism, we need a set of alternative assumptions or, as these assumptions will be quite general, constituting, as it were, an entire alternative world, we need a dream-world in order to discover the features of the real world we think we inhabit (and which may actually be just another dream-world).

I legitimately do not believe that boomers can die. They can’t be killed. They just keep fucking going. The eternal boomer has an unprecedented vitality, unfettered by the constraints of a biological form. Because they aren’t real people. They are tulpas made animate by the concentrated energy of the recalcitrant, projections of minds left to rot in the jungle like Malagasy twins. The boomers did every drug they came in contact with, they have eaten fast food since they were in their mothers wombs. They subsist off carbonated corn syrup in plastic bottles for the same reason that medieval peasants drank beer, because the water isn’t clean. And in spite of having learned everything they know through a TV screen, they persist relentlessly, eschewing all moral responsibility for the avarice which is the only facet of life that compels them to arise from slumber. I would say I hate them, and I would be telling the truth, but really I’m just upset that it’s them and not me, because I’m the dumbass that has to flip the bill for their fiscal recklessness. I’m sure they’ll invent immortality just to keep the slave drivers alive, if not out of a selfish desire to consume, than a Canaanite-like desire to pass your own children through fire.

I've made a Faustian bargain, found heaven here on earth. My daily medicine, I upped it to a dose that makes me feel so good and euphoric literally all 24 hour of the day, but the drawback is it makes me hella sedated and full of nonstop pleasure, and this combination results is me not wanting to do anything all day but lay in bed and enjoy it. Don't know what I'm gonna do, this might just be my life forever. I wish I could tell my younger self happiness and pleasure isn't worth it, choose success and accomplishment. Oh well, maybe the next life. Back to bed.

>>24772581Just think about it. I had just turned 18, dreaming of all the new possibilities and what I was going to do with them. The student loan thing happened immediately after. It was a two week fight, they even told family members I once trusted to tell me to do it. After threatening me with not giving me money ever again and total screen and freedom sanctions, I gave in. Then I swore myself that I was never asking my parents for money anymore, started working three shifts a week while going to school, ended up dropping out. >>24772615Well, maybe they're saving it for your inheritance.
>>24772620Then they could have told me that instead of making me believe that they were literally facing bankrupcy. But they're just generally toxic. My mom sometimes, out of the blue, goes on a total rant against me, yelling at me and telling me that I'm a loser and whatnot, after that she pretends it never happened and expects me to behave like it never happened. I just don't get why they are like that, they do not drink, they do not even smoke.
was anyone else here using 4chan 10 years ago?if so, do you remember how there used to be way more "new" things, like new jokes, new people, new trends, new topics of discussion and so on? these things still happen, but in a drastically weaker form than they used to. people for the most part are disengaged from trends, because people are older and they know the trend has a much weaker ability to impact them that it would a person who is, say, 16 years old. our brains are like clay which gradually loses the ability to change shape over time. i recognize this is to some degree biologically pre-determined, but at the same time it's not entirely so, and being complacent about the person you've become is the only way to truly guarantee you never experience meaningful change again. age 14-16 was the most meaningful time of my life because i felt like i could become anything, and i feel that i failed to become the person i should have.i don't know if anyone else besides me feels this way. everyone has this attitude like, "i shouldn't have fumbled that girl" but i just think "i should have become someone else"

>>24771208Arthur de Gobineau wasn't your average muh blonde hair blue eyes retard. He focused on the psychology aspect. The white man is a bold, active, courageous character, full of virtue in his heart, ready to face the cold, the heat, the hunger and exhaustion, spear in his hands, half-naked, bearing the wild beasts and monsters of the jungle, forest or prairie. Sigh, if only more Europeans lived up to his standards, Europe would still be a war-ridden sheep pasture full of brave men fighting each other individually over stacks of hay and precious gems, and everyone would be happy.

I've been watching a lot of TV lately and I've noticed every show contains a character who wants back some woman, usually the mother of his children, while the woman wants to keep things easy breezy, occasionally hookup with the man, but not fully get back together. Granted, the man almost always did something to mess up the marriage to begin with, so I get it, that's not my issue. My issue is why don't you ever see the reverse? Certainly you see men stringing along mistresses, but you never see men stringing along exes, someone they've actually been in love with at some point. I'd love to see it represented in fiction, or is it simply not realistic to real life? Is it outright not how men and women act so you can't properly depict it? I should try to write it. Thoughts?
>>24773584Is it as simple as women can never rebuild loyalties once she's made a decision? Once you've been demoted from long-term partner, love of my life status, you're banished from it for good? I suppose I can see that.
>>24773566Nahh they don't take any welfare. They should have instead of making me take student loans for them. I guess civil movement brainrot made them incapable of living in an orderly manner wich in turn made them incapable of getting jobs that aren't minimum wage. Their parents were either middle class or striving to become middle class, orderly, conservative, traditional, family-oriented. I mean some of my older relatives see my parents as literal scum. I've been to relatives from my mother's side who would go on a rant about how much of a loser my father is, a lazy piece of shit who never achieved anything in his life, their words not mine. I try to see it in a positive light, some kind of ancient Aryan instinct where the mutts and the lowbirths are isolated from the family to preserve the tradition purity of race. How could I forgive my parents who, neglecting their traditional duties, turned me into an outcast?

I don't even understand why communists read philosophy, to be a communists is basically to be a conscious animal. Communists ethos is providing the basic necessities and nothing more outside of it especially the new third world socialism that relies heavily on social programs to keep a voting base. A leftist movement that uplifted its members would die out, as the left is at heart an engine to turn the festering hatred of whatever is or has become “sick, misshapen, suffering from itself” into political power for the faction who can manipulate, incite, and direct this hatred. We have seen this before. The white working class ceased to be a viable tool for the left as soon as workers got decent jobs and fulfilling lives. The call for the great slave rising needs slaves.

Today's cooking:>inauthentic whiteboy persian jeweled rice with sausage Brought a cup of water to a boil, tossed in the peel of 1 orange sliced into thin strips, boiled for a couple minutes til the peel started to float. Drained and set aside. Toasted some slivered almonds and Craisins in some fancy olive oil, set aside. Left the oil in the pan. Added some sugar and turmeric, quickly stirred to prevent clumping, let caramelize for a sec, added the orange peel and about 1 cup carrot matchsticks, coated and saute'd for a couple minutes. Added an anise star and some cinnamon, cooked for a little longer, added a cup of water and brought to a boil, then reduced heat and simmered for 10 minutes or so. Drained resulting sauce slash syrup into a cup, set candied orange peels and carrots aside. Cooked 2 cups jasmine rice real quick and pulled the basmati rice cooked with tempered clove oil left over from last week out of the fridge. In a new pan, tempered some roasted ground coriander, then cooked a package of hot italian sausage and threw in a big diced shallot until it all turned limp and translucent. Dumped the candied carrots and orange peels into the pan with the sausage and shallot, stirred a bit, then dumped in all the rice and had it fry in the accumulated oils a little, then dumped in the almonds and craisins, then finished with the turmeric-sugar-anise-cinnamon syrup and cooked for a sec until the rice on the bottom of the pan started to brown and form a layer. The result is sweet and spicy and tangy and very filling. I got scared the spicy and sweet tastes would clash with each other but it worked out in the end. Will probably try this one again.
