Damn this was great
>>24773657all i remember about this guy's books is him always talking about some old guy having a massive hog. i assume its a self insert to communicate to females...anything for litpussy
>>24773697He definitely is a horny mofo. The main character has a love affair with a girl 60 years younger and loses his virginity to some hot mom that essentially rapes him
>>24773657Yeah. Sometimes great writers are just wonderful. I love the harbour district and brothel and even the ending. Pleasure cruise over a river of excrement.
>>24773657it’s great if you are a woman or a homosexual
I found 100 years of solitude both amazing and awful not really sure why I thought I liked it more when I finished it but looking back it feels meh
>>24773769It really felt like a prose poem>>24773775It really wasn't feminine
>>24773657I have this exact book collecting dust in a shelf. For some reason I just can't get into Marquez (at least, Marquez translated into English). I find his prose too tedious. Maybe I'm just too much of a brainlet since I can't get into McCarthy in a similar way.
Yeah I'm surprised this book doesn't get brought up here more often, it might be his best work
