Would appreciate some recs /lit/ I've got a few lined up already but I need something different to mix things up
This is all I've read this year. Really liked Infinite Jest, Doomsday Book and The Girls, as well as the Shakespeare but I'm open to anything

Could you narrow it down to particular genres or topics?

Recently I've been trying to read stuff I don't usually read. I still haven't read any fantasy or romance but I'm still new to philosophy and sci fi.
I generally like history books, conspiracies, literary fiction, that type of thing. Shakespeare is one of my favorites along with Nabokov

Really only Shakespeare; I've always heard about Pushkin so wanted to give him a shot. Only ever heard good things about Chekhov, especially his short stories
