I can't believe he tried to kill her
Is the sequel any good?
>>24774361This was technically a prequel and to me it was not as good as the trilogy but still very good
Reddit.
>>24774375really? this was my favorite one, including the new onemaybe its because it was a bit relatable (not in the way you think), but it did add more to the "universe" than any of the other 4 if you pay attention. its also better written imo
>>24774393You know what, you might be right. I guess its just of matter that I read the trilogy first. havent read the newest one yet either, thats next. And also i need time to digest it better; but to me the trilogy is more relatable because i'm more of a forest dwelling, mushroom hunting, lake swimming kind of person than a erudite prone to love beaurucratic type. and the writing being better, i agree, but i believe is because its being narrated by a more erudite narrator, meanwhile the trilogy is being narrated by a rough backwater dweller, and i personally love her narration style, sort of just a asshole and never beleives anyone, LOL. what makes this one more relatable to you if you want to share
How is the Haymitch book?
>>24774397>I read the trilogy firstso did i though, i read them about a year or so after the last one came out just before the movies a decade or so ago>relatable i saw lucy grey as someone i knew is the short version, the long one is too much to share here probably
>>24774424Ah, I thought you meant you saw yourself relating to snow. Which you still must, in some way, if that someone you knew reminded you of lucy gray. but don't share more if you don't want to
>>24774355Was she Katniss' mom or not
>>24774871the 5th book answers that, it also gives more information about her dad and other family relations
>>24774355Feels good to be a Collinschad
>>24774899Feelsgoodman
Is the book much different from the movie? Yeah, I'm sure there are some inner monologues in there, but what else?
>>24776269the only similarities are the characters names and the general idea of the world
>>24774871katnisses mother was said to be a formerly rich apothecary owner in the first book kek
>>24776269I heard someone say its like a wikipedia summary of the book and that's a perfect description, kek. It desperately called for to be 2 parts, and that can almost never be said for anything else. The entire soul of the book, the main arc of the protagonist's moral path, is fucked. The visuals are beautiful though
>>24774355I should read Songbirds & Sneks
>>24779052Its pretty good. After a few nights to let it digest i believe 24774393 might be right that it is the best one.
I started reading the fire book and what kind of a name is Catpiss anyway.
>>24779463It come from Greek katharos which means pure
>>24779463Katniss is a flower
