Or at least he does throughout the novel, read 'til the end to see Bloom take a step in the right direction.It's an indictment of our society as a whole, and the indictment becomes more damning and prescient by the day as the west slips further and further into disordered and deviant sexual activities, separating sex from its rightful place in a monogamous marriage.
