When you write or speak, do you consciously look for words or are they delivered unto you by Mnemosyne herself?
I really don't believe there's a way to do any of this consciously, because searching words is what finds them. I don't know if that makes sense. But basically: you don't know what you're going to think until you think it.

sometimes I just get elaborate wordplay and puns in my head out of nowhere, unbidden and fully formed. of course I tweet that stuff, my followers love that shit.
