Schizophrenic or enlightened?
>>24783356Necessary. If I read one book (I usually read long ones) I hit a point where reading becomes a chore and I look at the book and would rather do anything else so end up not reading at all. Multiple books allow me to take a break from the voice of one man and continue reading another’s.
>>24783356Schizo is you alternate between the books after each page.
>>24783356Stacking is the best way to read and to read a lot. Do 3-4 at a time, making sure each one is different enough that you won't get confused. I like doing fiction, nonfiction, and something like a play or poetry.
You can read a lot of different kinds of books, even a kid can read a fun fantasy novel and then switch to studying by reading something for school. Even if you read two books that are very similar I don't even think there's a problem. It's neither.
>>24783356Retarded. Focus on one thing then start another.
>>24783356Every time I try and read two books I end up liking on more and just reading that one.
>>24783423What's he reading? Looks like it may be a Bible and a piece of commentary
>>24783356Why is this even a question? It's something I do all the time, I didn't even consider it was rare
>>24783356I am reading the Turner Diaries and Between the World and me at the same time. Very enlightening.
>>24783356When one accumulates a proper library, one tends to read from several volumes on and off as he or she needs. It's neither schizophrenic nor enlightened in and of itself. It just sort of happens that way.Why do you post this nitwit pedophile Freemason's tool here?
>>24783356I usually read one novel and one philosophical work at a time
>>24783536My nigger
>>24783356One fiction, one nonfiction is a great way to read
>>24783356Thats adhd. Schizo would be reading some book on a broad topic like pic related and then extrapolating points from it that are never explicitly said in the book the very clearly implied throughout.
>>24783533I imagine you look like this
>>24783656nta but I look like that
>>24783383100% agreed. My stack is currently 1 fiction, 1 non-fiction, 1 theology.I should add some short stories or poetry to the mix.
>>24783423old Bill level: you have two books open on the screen side by side, and you read one line from each in turn.
>>24783533This better be satire.
>>24783533>>24783656This instantly came to mindhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LxQF4vOBhc
>>24783356I think it makes sense for instance if someone is reading a heavy/dense book they might have a light novel to read as a break.Better than doomscrolling Instagram
I wouldn't call it either of those things, if it works for you then great, I just found out it doesn't really work for me cause I get distracted by the other books so just one book at a time for me personally
im reading dozens (schizo)
>>24783533>Why do you post this nitwit pedophile Freemason's tool hereDon't talk about Leon like that...
>>24783356I like having a more "chill" / slop book and a more complex one for different moods.
>>24783356I have different books for different places. Currently it'sBed - War and PeaceToilet - All the Pretty HorsesCommute - a book about the House of CapetLiving room - a young adult novel in Russian (trying to learn the language right now)That way I can always read wherever I am without having to actually carry a book with me. I also try to read in different languages as to not forget them.
