How do you actually get people to read your writing?
>>24787919You don’t you have to pay to hire a jeet farm to artificially boost you on some “viral” X post where people then click on your profile and then click on your book
>>24787921that's so dishonest anon, better drop a link there so we know what to avoid!
>>24787919Be a nepobaby or a mormon with connections to a publishing house who will promote your work. If you can't do that, become an eceleb prior to releasing your work.
>>24787919You shill it on 4chan, ofc.
>>24788081Part of me is thinking about doing this with the big story I'm currently having a website built for. It would mean revealing my real name on 4chan but whatever.I also just think Anons would really like my work. 4chan has been receptive to my writing in the past, I've done writefagging for this site for more than a decade and also the average Anon liked my fanfiction years ago.
>>24788235When I was considering self-publishing this thought crossed my mind too but I ultimately decided it was too risky. Nothing some anons love more than ruining someone's day, no matter how undeserving. That said, if you're unafraid of a review bomb, I daresay you're right. If you've been here for a long time, you probably do have a window into what the average litfag would like. Many of us probably would enjoy your story.
