>>24803353A diary so he can write his useless thoughts down and keep them to himself and spare the rest of the world from seeing them
>>24803353Idk, maybe he should try the psychological model instead of eastern bullshit. Jung's process of individuation is for the superior intellect of the western white man.
>>24803353Anti-depressants
>>24803419China has the highest average IQ in the world
>>24803437I'm just saiyan, western man needs western solutions
More Buddhists should admit this desu good for this guy
I mean he kinda gets it, he understands that he is trying to fill a void and by trying to do so he is actually strengthening the idea that there is a void to fill.Obviously he is wrong about meditation. But he seems to understand the mind better, and his own mind better still.
>>24803353I would give him a heroic dose of psychedelics. He wants to see beyond the veil and the pissy little self delusions can’t open his third eye so give him a crowbar to force it open.
>>24803616yeah, but once the psychedelics wear off, then how do you get back to that higher state of consciousness?
>>24803616how to drive someone insane 101
>>24803437Too bad they don't have souls.
>>24803534>Obviously he is wrong about meditation. Why?
>>24803617Once you know the door can be opened it’s a lot easier to march up to it. You’re not going to unlock some magic LSD button through meditation, there’s a reason early spirituality and shamanism have links to psychedelics. >>24803625Actually the incidence of schitzophrenia is constant regardless of drug use and types shifting across countries. Pretty much every case of “he went insane from psychedelics” is a case of a latent pre-existing schitzophrenia triggering. It’s like contemning lifting weights because you saw a webm of some retard blacking out ego lifting and getting choked by the bar.
>>24803635He hasn’t understood that the heart of meditation is desiring nothing, not even enlightenment. Look at the language in his post: “I’ve tried,” “I seek,” “I want,” “I am angry,” “I want,” “I am frustrated,” “I want.” The answer is here: >>24803397
>>24803631ikr? people needlessly put them on a pedestal and don't realize how Faustian they are.

>>24803353It seems to me that he’s seeking prizes, not peace, and so he will always be found wanting.
>>24803437No, China just has a sampling bias.
>>24803353Tibetan book of the dead so maybe he can reincarnate better.
>>24803649If you truly desire nothing why meditate then
>>24803353I would send him to picrel.
>>24803353A job and a girlfriend
>>24803353my diary desu
>>24803353I mean, that's the insight. There's nothing to understand or grasp.
Just do what makes you happy stupid faggot redditer
>>24803353Sovlless
>>24803353Nothing, I’d ask what book he would give me and that’s what nobody did… lolBut seriously, U.G. Krishnamurti came to the same conclusion after half a lifetime of hard searching and it may have broken him.
>>24803353>What book would you give him?Gateless Gate.
>>24803353>What book would you give him?The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot
>>24803353A heavy one to the head
>>24803643how many psychedelics are you supposed to take to open this door?
>>24803353When someone tells me he’s “done” I take it to mean he’s done. I don’t think so highly of myself to read into things people say and try to “help” them further. Everyone seems to be a free advice dispenser of some sort these days. Society of old ladies if you ask me.
>>24803959It solves the redditor issue. You just observe your emotion and thoughts while meditating, and the constant application of this practice will give the redditor what he wants. He isn't detached from his thinking. As long as he doesn't see that the problem is his mind, he'll be caught in a loop. Choiceless observation without clinging to result and desiring anything will lead him to the thing, once he stops expecting anything from the exercise. And the psyhcedelic anon is correct. A moderate dose of LSD - 150 mcgs of good stuff - will grant him the insight how all his problems are mind created and that what he seeks is always there, as long as he stops trying to do something, stops trying to achieve something, to feel something, to change something, to think something. The whole secret of the thing is profound relaxation into the present. You let go of your thinking and understand the simple truth. The paradox is desiring, striving to achieve, wanting the simple truth drives you away from the simple truth. Hence, meditation. An essentially pointless thing that will get him the result when he'll stop trying to get something out of it.
>>24803437China's average being 100 what does that say about you?
>>24803358True, I was gonna say that myself. He sounds way to entitled and is probably some high schooler or university student who still lives off of his parents. Manual labour is the only cure for such disorders.
>>24803419>he doesn't know
>>24803353He needs psylocybin, not a book. >>24803437You can learn how to achieve a good score in IQ tests, it's an irrelevant metric. They also only test students from the best schools who spend years grinding test papers at the cost of ignoring critical and analytical skills. That's why they plagiarise everything from the west. It wasn't until 2017 when they figured out how to produce the tips of ballpoint pens on their own lol
>>24805609know what?
>>24803353The Worm at the Core
>>24803419Jung was influenced by Daoism retard
>>24803635Because it works. The purpose of meditation is to harmonise the mind with God. It is not to make people happy, although there probably are meditations for that too. But it is important to remember that godliness and worldly fulfilment are two separate things - they are connected, but still very separate. If you want worldly fulfilment, emotional joy, pleasure of the senses, you must go to the world and work in the world, meditation can help a bit with that but the rest must be your own attainment through physical action. If you want to attain subtle states of wisdom, you must meditate. Meditation will help lead you to the original freedom that God uses to create all things. But that's a very different thing from submerging yourself in the good things that god created. In short, meditation won't give you a meaningful and happy life. It can help, but it's purpose is something else. It will help give you something which belongs outside and above life, but even once you have that, that won't be a substitute for a happy life. The satisfaction and joy of attaining a happy life and of attaining divine truth are two very different types of satisfaction. If you want the former but chase the latter, you are confused.
>>24805716>le shrooms are the answer Kill yourself.
>>24803353shrooms
>>24805607I feel like being a neet is destroying my mind
>>24805716>He needs psylocybin, not a book.This.>>24805789They are the right step though. This guy wants "something beyond himself so badly" and is looking for it on an intellectual level where he is stuck (except for being molested by gurus, but even they didn't unclog his root chakra with their little pajeet dicks).Shrooms mess up your default mode network so you can at least see beyond your usual perspective, not only intellectually but emotionally and perceptually too. After that you know you know you are not actually stuck. You don't even need to trip ever again if you're not into it.
>>24803353>I want>I seek>I desireThe whole point of meditation is to eliminate this line of thinking, what has this guy been using it for?
>>24807425For health reasons, like yoga is used so we can get better angles in pr0n.
