How do I read him in English
>>24829284you don't. first learn French then read Rimbaud
>>24829284I guess this isn't question for a monolingual r-tard to answer, but I enjoyed Beckett's translation of The Drunken Boat and Ashbery's Illuminations.
By reading a shitty translation. Then by learning French to compare.
>>24829284Don't. Poetry is for fags. French poetry is for double fags.
I guess if you pick up just any translation of the prose stuff it would give you a good enough idea of what it is about and you could say with a semi clean conscience that you've read it.
Just learn to read French. If you already speak English and have a moderate faculty for languages, it shouldn't take you more than a few months. Less still if you already know some Spanish, Italian or Romanian.
>>24829345You're ugly and smell really bad. Back to your sci-fi general.
>>24829284Star with the H end with the M. In between those there is an I.
>>24829345Poetry is for men who like sucking cockFrench poetry is for men who like the cock in their ass
>>24829284don't bother, he's soo overrated
Does anyone have any good poetry by this cat? I tried to give him a fair shake but couldn't find anything that didn't seem fairly juvenile. Thanks in advance
nobody cares about him because of the poetry just pretend that you've read it (in the original of course) like a normal person
>>24832786After the Flood is my favourite poem by him or any other poet.
