We won't end it and return to the Golden Age by some sort of human action, it will be brought by a divine being. Also, when we read how people are described in the previous Golden Age we notice that they had a different nature foreign to humans as we know them today, they were immortals and so on, therefore the nature of the world will have to change again as well. Everything about this quite obviously implies that this will be a divine event in its entirety.
