I could be a serial killer in the making. I fantasise about eating the bones of women, by snapping them and sucking out the marrow, cleaning the flesh from the gizzards and stomach and innards. I like the way it feels. Consuming. Controlling. The power and the glory comes with a draught of wine, with the blood of Christ.

I can understand and tolerate sanctimonious self-righteousness. I can understand and tolerate hypocrisy. But these two character traits combined together, I find utterly despicable, immoral, and not the least bit baffling, particularly when the person feels no guilt for their hypocrisy.

I dreamt that I was a girl on a plane with 2 books: HP Lovecraft's collected poems and an Irish dictionary. For some reason Lovecraft wrote poems in Irish. An old dude noticed me reading Irish and he was like that's cool, so I read Lovecraft's Irish poems to me. Then he asked how'd I get to learn Irish. I said I was learning French but my friend said my voice was too masculine and that Irish would be a better fit. Apparently I teach an Irish class too because I told the old dude how surprised everyone in the class was about how young I was (in the dream I was a girl in her early 20s, irl I'm in my 30s).

do you remember any of the verse? i had a dream not long ago where philip larkin recited a poem he wrote in his youth. and when i woke up i was kind of amazed that it made sense, it worked, it was kind of funny, was in his voice. it’s true your brain does 90% of the work unconsciously behind the scenes.
>>
>>24841563
I could actually read it, but it was all in Irish. It's too hard for me to recall it. They were all short verses like 3-5 words.

I'm reading American Psycho right now, I'm about a third way through, and so far I don't understand why people call it satire. Rich people are actually like this. The part with Bateman freaking out when people say nigger and being pro-civil rights, but then being super racist in his head, is especially true and hilarious.

Everyone's a selfish scumbag obsessed with material goods, people are judged not by their character or even ability, but by their status and clothes, they're all fake friendly but in actuality hate each other, despite being incredibly similar. They're all deeply insecure and constantly try to outdo each other. There's also the deep disdain for the poor, of course. It's hardly the first book to describe rich people like this, of course, but it's accurate nonetheless. And honestly, the desire to murder is accurate as well, at least to a certain degree. Think of all the moneybags paying a fortune to travel to the other side of the planet just to snipe some caged exotic animal.
>>
>>24841838
>Of course, but I thought it would be much more over the top.
Like eating babies ala Jonathan Swift? The thing about satire is if you go too far, the work becomes a comedy. So most satire in literature is gonna be more grounded. Relatively, of course.

Rich people use anti-aging cream made from baby foreskins, so eating them is not too far off. And let's not forget (like the general public did) people like Jimmy Saville and how much of Britain's high society was in on his heinous crimes.

I have been having a reoccurring dream for years now. It involves the two dogs i currently own. I usually see them doing something and then I would remember I own other dogs in the dream (not in real life). These dogs would be like starving under a bed and my mother and I wouldn't care for them. But when I would remember it I would feel guilty and terrible. They are usually small and we would have had them for a long time but literally did not care for them and possibly abused them. It makes me sick

The reason why contemporary dissent from the mainstream is different from historical dissent from the mainstream is that the latter was done by and done for the interests of a class on the rise, the bourgeoisie, while contemporary dissent is overwhelmingly embraced not by a class with any sort of direct or indirect power, like in the past, but rather by the dregs of society, who became dissenting elements exactly because they became the dregs of their society, not because they believed they were owed even more power by the old elites, like the bourgeoisie believed in the past.

I feel like this is also why our culture is stagnant like a swamp, the interesting cultural dynamics of old were driven in no small part by the rivalization between the aristocracy and the bourgeoisie throughout the centuries, while there is no such dynamic pressure in the current system at all because the elite is completely untouchable and the dregs are completely powerless.

The reason why literature is so shit now is because most authors historically wrote against the status quo, while modern authors exclusively write in defense of the status quo.

Is anyone good with women here?

Bit of a blog post but the tldr

>met a girl at a conference in my career
>drank with her at an event, teased and laughed with her playing games, made fun of each other, light bullying
>offer to walk her home to her hotel and she says no thanks
>ok, just say to shoot me a msg when she’s home
>she does and i give her my number from LinkedIn…
>see her again next day and she’s kinda cold to me but says hi
>then texts me to grab a drink with her before another event
>flirt decently hard at event later
>talk about our lives and i’m leaving tomorrow and she begs for me to reschedule my flight
>say goodbye next day and again the mood is a bit colder

Was so weird. I’m actually not bad with girls but she kinda fucked my head a bit. I know mixed signals means nothing and she prob just liked the attention, but I did like her. Maybe she has social anxiety. I don’t know man. Zoomer women
>>
>>24843183
Sounds like she might have a partner already and just wants some attention as a break, an emotional fling.
>>
>>24843191
That or I just wasn’t attractive enough for her maybe. She never really broke the touch barrier with me. Most women who flirt w me at conferences sloppily do.

I can’t stop thinking about her. She wasn’t even that hot. I think it’s because she was 4-5 years younger than me and pretty intelligent. Going through some Lost in Translation bullshit now

Just found out Nick Fuentes admires Stalin. I don't know how to feel. On the one hand, if we could somehow manipulate him over to the left, the revolution will be a breeze with the amount of manpower he brings. On the other hand, this just proves to retarded liberals that the horseshoe theory is true. It is funny reading the comments of his fans calling him out for it.

>tfw no ScarJo Tokyo gf

>>24843218
He admires will to power. I also prefer the Fuentes Christian Nationalist right. The secular right is genuinely retardedly evil, like they revel in being the bad guy. At last the new christian right is populist, socialist in a sense, and has a view of some kind of dignity of all people if they are christian.
>>
>>24843218
Fuentes admires anyone who can grow a moustache
>>24843227
I imagine it wouldnt take much to push this new christian right into something like distributism
>>
>>24843247
A part of me wonders if the nebulous and ill defined vaguely populist vaguely traditional but not neatly right or left wing "movement" (or, really, vibe) will turn into some kind of genuine Catholic revival movement (given the way Catholic social teaching crosses party lines), but another part of me cynically believes it will just get co-opted by grifters and retards looking to tap its energy to get elected and then participate in the system of shady semi legal kickbacks and dangling promises in front of voters to get elected again that every other political group (regardless of party or values) inevitably turns to in America.

It’ll be used for American imperial ambitions but will also probably give the working class more bargaining power.

Leftists refuse to admit that right wing populist movements actually do get the elites to give concessions to ordinary people. If we’re going to brutalize the world I’d better get my cut!

>>24843251
Possibly. I think people are at the point that they realize they want other institutions/laws to rely on other than democratic government. And the most natural institution would be the Catholic church.

With political debates, what I often find myself disagreeing with before anything else is not even the surface level claims, like whether a particular thing is one way or another, but the presuppositions on which the question itself depends. Like if somebody asked you whether you think flowers smell blue or red, wouldn't the correct response to such a question be to say that there is no such thing as something smelling blue or red instead of saying either blue or red?

He's half right but philosophers like Locke didn't necessarily break with the natural law tradition, they just reframed the epistemology. The main reason for the discord more or less has to do with women gaining the right to vote which destroyed the original intention of the constitution. The more amendments added the less it resembled the original document. And I think a lot of it had to do with women withholding sex from their husbands until certain laws were passed. Anyone who researches sociology enough is aware that women have a far easier time forming a consensus than men do which is why the men's rights movement was slow to develop. And feminists certainly benefited from the leverage given to their homewrecking movement thanks to Jewish influence.
