I don't like any of Tao Lin's new work, and his current arc is incredibly boring. Yet more proof that edgy authors have an incredibly brief but exciting lifespan. He should move on to editing or something. I've seen enough.
Tao Lin is better than ever. I liked reading 9000 words about Nini. It seems like Tao Lin is living his best life. Leave Society is the only book from the 2020's I have re-read. Tao Lin lives on The Big Island, Hawaii. He is writing on five or six non-fiction books, one of which is titled Reasons to Live, a title he borrowed from Amy Hempel's 1985 book Reasons to Live. I look forward to reading more text by Taiwanese-American alt-lit pioneer Tao Lin.
