Arguments against Historical Determinism? How do you convince someone who believes everything is already determined and that you can't actually so anything, and that embracing the hedonism is the only rational way forward?
>>24842615I didn't had any choice, it was always my destiny to be against determinism and call determinists faggots.
>>24842615do* anything
>>24842615>and that embracing the hedonism is the only rational way forwardthis has nothing to do with determinism so the lack of connection here is where you should argue
>>24842635They think that any individual action is useless to change the way of things and so, in order to not left behind, one must embrace all that happens, and that trying to change things is actually crazy. It's hopeless, really, because they think AI-generated music and art is as soulful as true art.
>>24842615Just ask them if them if it was historically predetermined to ligma
>>24842615>and that embracing the hedonism is the only rational way forwardI don't see how that follows logicallyeverything may be determined, that doesn't mean it's determined to go well, rampant hedonism would have the same consequences, the only difference would be the interpretation of why it came to beThey get to cope the consequences of their actions were out of their hands, but they still get the consequences so who's fooling who?
>>24842650Well the same people that say AI art isn't real art also probably think that synthetic diamonds aren't the same as diamonds that come from a mine. Even though they are the same crystal structure, hardness, and are in-fact a higher purity.AI art, is generally speaking of a higher quality than your average human artist. You can scientifically prove this by having a double blind test and asking people off the street to pick the one that looks better.Though you must not poison the well by telling them one of the images is AI. Because there are lots of tools that shit on AI just because they are stupid.
>>24842729AI is amalgamated mediocrity. It's a mechanical charlatan, every one can be sourced to the handful of artists with actual talent they drew from and it's incapable of moving beyond that. The only thing it's expedient at is plagiarism. It's amazing that for as powerful a tool AI could be it is consistently applied to work that is an active detriment to everyone and it's funny that it is fully capable of putting lots of creators out of work, yet the only type of people that use it are too lazy and inept to do the legwork to actually make the most of AI's strengths and just try to use it to do everything, failing utterly and producing pure slop consistently. That's the irony, programs have been used for decades to help artists make their art more expediently and it works great, the only notable difference with the new wave is it's only being employed by the laziest, most unimaginative slop peddlers who use it as a smokescreen for stealing the work of people who make it possible for the AI to even know what anatomy is.
>>24842615haha OP I love bearo XD

>>24842615Annales School. People who think that history is determined believe themselves to be Nostradamus or something. Totally insane behavior.
