I would like to see more picture books for adults (or at least, not meant for children). And I don’t mean manga or comics, I mean picture books, text and art side by side. Any rec?

William Blake is the first and last name. Anything published originally as serial or in magazines also often was illustrated as with Sherlock Holes and The Count of Monte Cristo

The only things which come to mind are things like in the OP, illustrated versions of novels.

Actually there’s one more such book which comes to mind: The Electric State. I loved the art but the story was meh.
