feels like it's been a long month. glad to be back. We're only a couple a months away until it's been a year that this has been going. I've been thinking about making an anthology for the anniversary. What do people think about that?
Feels like it's been really long for me as well. I'll consider joining again, though I promise nothing—these darkening days are wreaking havoc on my mental. I'll be reading the stories, at least.>>24860170Sounds fun. I like having these stories on hand.
Last three months of winners collected here:https://mega.nz/folder/usNllbQC#yWk55Mj355BvqwtUrfbYeg
>>24860170What would be the plan for the anthology? Also: longass OP, jeez.
Let's fucking go.>⸻Thank you yoda for coming up with ways to clean OP.
>>24860421long yes but this info has grown over time to cover any questions people may have, and im sure, people will still ask questions even after me writing this lol>>24860205i feel you. these darkening days, the fall days, hit hard after the sun. >>24861087no worries, it needed sprucing up! >>24860382>https://mega.nz/folder/usNllbQC#yWk55Mj355BvqwtUrfbYegthanks so much. you using inDesign? If we type set the whole month, maybe i'll send to printers and sell them on here, then put the money back in maybe for a cash prize or something. or maybe i'll just do an e-book with typeset anthology and release on here too. i'm open to ideas.
>>24861199>you using inDesign?Scribus.>If we type set the whole monthYou mean "the whole year"? I might go through the months pre-August, since I effectively have it down to a template that each piece drops into. But there's generally still some technical editing, like for various quote marks and replacing em-dash stand-ins, which is annoying and can add up. I'm not guaranteeing anything.>maybe i'll send to printers and sell them on hereI'd be cautious of selling these for any profit (or expecting appreciable sales; I don't know how you'd award a prize either, since that generally involves exposing legal names). The writing still belongs to the authors and wasn't licenced, and likewise for the /wibac/ images. A free PDF is one thing, but selling someone's work (esp. for profit) is another, and I think retroactively pulling that on the authors could cause a stink. Or at least I personally find it dubious.I also think the OP is overlong and has a lot of pointless fluff.
>>24861265yeah i figured that entering money into it would cause a stink desu my idea would be obviously not to make profit but raise funds for a prize for a big comp but its tough to do that. a free pdf is most likely the best option.
CHARACTER REQUIREMENT: A character must suffer from chronic pain THEME REQUIREMENT:Corruption in state institutions (sorry for early post, i'm in and out of internet today)
>>24860165>no thread title
>>24862361Yeah dude, I mean I will write for the contest, I think a lot of people might miss out because there's no thread title
>>24862028looks promising, will be writing for this for sure already have a great idea
>>24862028Just a question is it okay if I interepet chronic pain in my charatcer to be emotional rather than physical chronic pain,?
>>24863294i would say emotional pain isn't really chronic pain. >>24863136damn really? i totally gapped it doing it mobile.
>>24863401Can this be about pain in general as well? I think there's more to be written if you allow it.
>>24863431yes of course, i just meant that chronic pain isn't emotional pain, which could be interpreted as depression, which isnt what i was going for when writing the prompt
>>24863576Great tygotcha
>>24862028First time using rentry. Let's hope this works. rentry.co/4cewyonk
