Why is he so hatable
the face of a pedo if I've ever seen one
I think he was the pulp author who truly gave way to pulp authors achieving "literary" status by having books adapted into big shot Hollywood movies. Yes there were other pulp authors who had their slop adapted but he was the one who blurred the line the most. He's not a bad pulp author, he just got disproportionately popular.
>>24865095the scariest thing about stephen king is not his stories, but his face
>>24865095Besides being really ugly, he's very smug and it's not really justified because his writing sucks.
>>24865095Twosted fucking spychopath
>>24865095"The Epstein list is real. So is the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus"
>>24865806Only a child would believe that there's a magical list out there that has all the names and depraved acts commited by the people you hate.
>>24865887I love blackmailing politicians but I would never ever keep track of my leverage
>>24865889They're not getting blackmailed lmao. They do it because they cam get away with it.
>>24865892Then they would do it openly
>>24865806He changed tack on Epstein when it shifted to being used to smear Trump. Most of the people who suddenly care about Epstein just have TDS.
>>24866058That was a really funny turn of events. I thought everyone was on board with waking up against the jews, all in unison were calling jews jews jews Epstein pedo islands, then it turns out Trump was on the list and they all stopped. Fucking Americans. Right or left they're all the same breed of shit.
>>24865095 I don't hate him. Actually I admire what he's accomplished as a pulp author and how he's made a lot of money. What I hate is how he won't shut the fuck up and thinks just because he writes books that people like he's an expert on everything. He's got to prove he's the smartest person in the room for some reason.
>>24865806Did he have a stroke? Why does Stephen King believe the Tooth Fairy and Santa are real?
>>24865095High profile, writes slop, opines on literary craft while writing slop, been washed up for decades, looks like somebody's lesbian great aunt, posts lib boomer politics on Xwitter. Even people who like his books don't care about his views or him as a person for the most part.
>>24865095King's biggest problems have always been his slave mentality and willingness to dissociate from reality while casting personal accountability onto some nebulous Other (this is especially apparent in IT). That's kinda why he got so butthurt at Kubrick for making Jack into the main villain of The Shining. King blamed the bottle and the haunted hotel while Kubrick blamed the man who made the choice to drink and abuse his family. When King stopped abusing drugs and alcohol, he never really stopped his habit of dissociating from life. He just started watching CNN and zoning out on the news for a few hours a day (seriously, it's part of his daily routine from On Writing).

>>24865095i never understood why is upper lip is so wide and puffed. he looks like a character from a dr seuss book. honestly if i were him i would've grown a beard or a pair of moutaches, that guy is genuinely unsettling to look at.
>>24865095he's in the club.https://www.bitchute.com/video/h86qesgoeSje
It's not fair that Stephen King gets to publish any fucking thing he wants. Any retarded idea that pops into his head and he jots down in a month, completely unedited, gets snatched right up and published that same year, no questions asked.

>>24865892please don't speak so confidently on things you have clearly put zero real time or effort into researching.do you really think the israeli flags lining american congress got there through honest means?bribe them to get them onside, then blackmail to keep them there. absolute oldest trick in any intelligence agencies book.
>>24865095>Looks creepy>is a libtard >posts his moronic views on X What's there not to hate?
>>24865095Idk he's a liberal or something right? We hate those guys around here!
>>24866857I am sorry anon, the puff cannot be contained. This is one of the most flattering pictures of him with a beard I could find, his other attempts at facial hair were way worse.
>>24865095He was a smart likeable talented guy who tragically died in a van crash. But his name was worth so many shekels they plastic surgeried a doppelganger to replace him. This is why all his 21st century work sounds like propaganda (except for the works that are based off his unfinished manuscripts, like the first 2/3rds of Under The Dome and the JFK one).Happens more often than you think. Even Kpop bands do this shit.
>>24865095He moved out of Maine and into Florida. It feels like when artists move to a place with warm weather they become insufferable.
>>24865095because you're insecure
>>24866505>I don't hate him. Actually I admire what he's accomplished as a pulp author and how he's made a lot of money. What I hate is how he won't shut the fuck up and thinks just because he writes books that people like he's an expert on everything. He's got to prove he's the smartest person in the room for some reason.whatever the minimum level of success is that is starts poking and waking up your suppressed ego (a thing necessary to begin big success)? He has long and far surpassed it. I think the recent King-hate which always existed in little circles like literature professors exploded when the twitter mob came for him. His job for a long time was to unsettle and scare the pants off the reader. He's good at it. I always enjoyed his little talk to "constant reader" at the end of his books. He seemed genuine that his success and therefor ability to keep writing was only because people like me read his stuff. Is he past his prime? Perhaps to more than likely. But hey, George Foreman had one big one left in him maybe he has one planned as well. I don't understand the "pedo"shit. I actually read "IT" in my 20s and it was still unsettling. Was the ending weird or has something weird about it ? Yes, its a hallmark of some of his books. But it wasn't pedo. Young kids, terrified for their lives, no adults in on it. I always felt Beverly was if not fucked by her dad then at least there was something inappropriate in their relationship. It makes sense she acted out sexually. One of his "eclipse" novels had a drunken bum excuse for a father molesting the daughter before the mother killed him for it. That's not "pedo". Its unsettling as fuck. If you trace enough books along his timeline, he moves from supernatural horror then begins using reality based shocking before trying it out as the whole premise. If highbrow lit is the sommelier discussing what wine will go best with your meal? No that's not king. But he's not the tight and short standard "ramp" pace formula, all within 225 pages. He's no happy meal. I suppose he's the biggest "treasure chest" from long john silvers. Takes multiple meals to get it all down. You won't like everything, some hate hushpuppies. Too much breading, too much...*whatever*, well fine. But you know what you're getting when you order it. He uses sex imagery as a way to shock the reader not titillate. Which is somewhat unique. I admit I bought Gerald's Game (young man, sue me), because the image of a pretty businessman's trophy wife, cuffed to the bed in a remote cabin for sexy weekend time? Sounded hot. Hey, King discovered sex... cool. If you've never rad it? Its zero boners out of five possible boners. And for those who read GG? "You're made of moonlight." How he took consensual adult husband-wife fun and turn it into a jumping off point to survival-horror, nothing any other author would have come up with. He has quite an imagination.
>>24866857>i never understood why is upper lip is so wide and puffed. he looks like a character from a dr seuss book. honestly if i were him i would've grown a beard or a pair of moutaches, that guy is genuinely unsettling to look at.there's a customer where I work looks disturbingly like him. I started calling him "Mister King". Its a phenotype. Slavic with a little German, going by my customer. I always mean to get a picture of me with him, like a fan with a famous person so I can gag everyone I met a relative of SK.
>>24866940calling everyone you don't like "nazi" has backfired. "What are you, a nazi?" "Yeah, now fuck off."The fallback is reverting to the old standby... "pedo". veryone and anyone "they" don;t like? Is now a pedo. I'm saying something unpopular so I guess I'll now be accused of being on Epstein Island too, I suppose. That's all the left has now? Yell pedo.
