Basically in my fictional series there are people who get reincarnated into another world with special abilites, except there are rising philosophical tensions. I plan to use their behavior as an allegory for people who dont grow up and environment dysmorphia etc. as well as percieved superiority, as well as ways people treat you can cause you to disegard others. None of these people remember their past lives and live an extremely long time. One set of antagonists are two boys, one who who can respawn after death (he will never die and will not go to heaven or hell) and has healing abilites for himself and people he touches, and the other is his poor mute swordsman friend. What i was wondering is would is be kino to write them as authentically selfless for people they care about like their cult or giving up personal agendas? Like for example choosing to save his friends and crying over their deaths he couldnt reverse over achieving more power or wealth.
Just write it
>>24865114you write your understanding of these dynamics. like >>24865132 said. if your understanding is immature your characters and stories will be as well. if YOU are immature there's no choice but to deal with how you see the world and accept your product will be subpar and cringe. work on it as far as you care to and be free then do your time and come back to it as an adult. or don't.my suggestion to you is to do deep dives on relevant topics and write notes constantly. shallow research and vibes based writing will reflect in convoluted plots and shit structure. so make your outline, flesh out your characters, get your story beats on rhythm and constantly overwrite your progress. and also don't be inspired by anime and manga.your drawing and this isekai muh special abilities storyline tells me you're inspired by anime, particularly contemporary releases which are by all means pretty shallow due to conventional japslop being autistic as fuck. you should understand that anime and manga are serialized which means that as chapters/seasons are being released theyre subjected to editor critique and audience reactions. this means they are usually never complete stories start to finish like a book typically would be and/or are forced to heavily simplify the creator's original vision in order to fit within a cour or arc. conversely a popular show or manga would get stretched out way too far due to it being popular and marketable, taking it well beyond the original vision the creator laid out for the characters. tldr;write. outline your story. flesh out your characters. do your research. write notes. find REAL inspiration instead of monkey-see-monkey-do'ing tertiary commodified trash. and grow up.
This is better suited for work request

>>24865439i was inspired by manga and anime however i wish to take it a much more mature direction than that. I like the idea of it being like an eden sort of super earth where people get stuck in an endless cycle of reincarnation People liked worm even though it was taking inspiration from capeshit.
>>24865439The story follows multiple characters also. For example:An angered NativeA Federal agentAn evil healer
sounds infantile
Rising philosophical tensions? Sounds retarded. Why don’t you take care of my rising phallic tension instead.
>>24867074People take infantile concepts and spin it into intriguing stories all the time. And the idea of reincarnation/transportation to another world isn't inherently childish unless you consider high fantasy to be childish.
>>24868200I mostly say so because you posted the terrible art that wouldn't even be impressive if a preteen drew it.
