If she fails, she has to get a real-world job like a normal person, so she’s forced to do everything she can to keep him alive. If I am going to assemble chapters into a book I save them all in LIbreOffice, then I can create a master document that references them. Advanced features as good or better than MS office. When I like it, I export it as PDF to check out the look and feel, and I can tweak.>But for WN? I just copy/paste a chapter at a time direct into the writer dashboard, and its easy to work with from my basic "Linux notepad" as a windows user would think of it.
I don't write "web novel style" but I once here on lit do a short story for a comp. A guy was betrayed and shot and woke up in a strange world. I basically wanted to plal with a short small isekai. I imagined a random generic "anime game" as I call the stuff and had a cute little slut in sexy revealing leather outfit. She had a blue ball of energy around her and few friends at her new world. She was obviously powerful and had to be respected.>With no desire or ability to write "that story" out, I recently used the basic idea when I needed a video game for my MC and his girlfriend to be playing one. Just like the short story, I called it Betrayal. When I reference what is obviously meant to be Call of Duty on internet play, I always call it "Codes of War" and then "Warcodes" is the big update to the original.>I will say being here was the only reason I had fooled with "Betrayal" short story, and it was nice to have it handy so my set-in-real-life MC had a game to describe.>I described the game play as his girlfriend was the Betrayal girl, and he was the warrior in her band. She was very un-powerful in level one, and had to follow him around. But as they progressed levels, she became increasingly powerful. Her level one laugh-jump-blue energy ball explosion was needed to finish the level, but later on she could titter-explode 10, then 100... finally 1000. Necessary for the big boss of bosses to pass to th next set of levels and really get going. Now she's powerful and can run around in battles with him, the blue ball of energy staying after her explosion coming down and finishing off enemies with him, doing her energy zaps she now has.>my aim is for her to draw inspiration from that character and playing it when he's fucked in real life and she has to figure out something to do in real life to help. Instead of watching helpless, she figures out something she CAN do that makes her powerful in the moment even though she can't fight like he can.>Yes, I think I know what that is.

I'm nearly caught up on Song of Giving and damn... It's worse than I thought. The first few paragraphs are EXTREMELY representative of the writing for the rest of it>muh traumatic backstories>weird leftist pet issues>millenial writing>magic users making "quips" all the time instead of talking like normal people (or even magic people)>massive exposition dumps, hardly any action or even activity in the first 19 chapters>it's a blatant ripoff of beats from Harry Potter (and arthurian legend but the harry potter copying is particularly blatant)Now as a sign of my own bad taste I'm going to keep reading it. 4.5 stars.

I always wondered what that term aura-farming was. Just googled it. No, my male MC in this project doesn't do that. Little bits of paint rub off on me from being here, though. Same MC I made it a point that his peer group is a gaggle of girls and more than one side character started using the phrase "your little harem". I don't dislike being here and I think of the tiny inclusion of "isekai" and "anime game"... and now just using the term harem as little nods I'm here. Its not a real harem I suppose, because while they all clicke up in their situation they were all in... he only has romantics with the one, his girlfriend. She doesn't get jealous if she sees him with the harem member everyone who didn't know better would *think* of as his romantic partner, she knows they're juse close regular friends before hi and her got together. Uhm, "harem-lite" maybe? Judgment call one of you could cast. This stuff is just set and setting, the main premise is nothing to do with it. Of course, you don't lay a finger on any of his girls, whether its his girlfriend, the friend one, nor any of the others. Maybe I'm slowly and organically working into little WN tropes until I can stick a legit tag on something.
>>24874316Do you really think the retards that constantly ask what's the best writing software actually want to write stuff?
>>24874589I thought it hit like third or fifth on RS. But yeah, the views are low given the follower count, and most of the reviews are glazing from fans of BTDEM expecting good things down the road.To be fair I expect the story to eventually get decent as well, but 179 pages of introduction mainly just ripping off Harry Potter, after making an explicit point about the main character NOT being like Harry Potter, is pathetic.>>24874594This too but honestly good for him. He's already rich. If he wants to try his hand at writing on a higher level, that's fine. But you can easily compare the first 21 chapters of Song to the first 21 chapters of BTDEM and see that BTDEM blows it out of the water in almost every respect.>ch1 rebirth - basic intro chapter>ch2-11 systemslop explanation and character building>ch12 life or death situation kinda out of nowhere, but it keeps things interesting>ch13-18 bit of foreshadowing and more doing things with magic, more character interactions>ch19 first big turning point, hugely impactful for character and plot for the rest of the story>ch20 timeskipCompare that to Song. The last chapter is quite literally a tour of the magic castle they're going to live in, tooootally not a complete carbon copy of hogwarts. You know what the real problem with Song is? It's something we've talked about in /wng/ before.Multiple main characters. Song has four. It's not going that well.

are there any urban fantasy wns with a premise like:>MC gets inducted into the shadow of society, the hidden fantasy in a mundane world>Expects something like WoD or Artemis Fowl>Instead becomes a witness to a race war between skinhead goblins and shirtless fairies who still live as if it’s the 4th century AD>Interviews a wizard, slowly comes to the dreadful realization that said wizard is essentially a 90’s gangbanger who deals in magic>MC has to survive going through wizard O-Block>Learns that Vampires live in Projects, and werewolves are autistic pagan larpers >Etc.are there any WNs where the gang violence endemic to big cities in the 90’s ended up leaking into the supernatural world and dying it in its colors?

It has come to my attention that many of you are using AI chatbots to critique your stuff. AI chatbots are useless and just blow smoke up your ass. You can give it the absolute worst writing imaginable and it will tell you "it's actually quite good! Dont give up!" So I am offering my services as a professional critiquer for a small fee. I will critique an outline of your novel, I will critique a chapter or two, I will critique a sample of your prose, maybe I can even critique your whole novel, if I have the time. I will tell you my impression of your characters. I will tell you what things are unclear. I will point out what moments worked and which didn't. I will check your tone, your POV, and your vocabulary for consistency. I will tell you if your twist ending is too obvious. I will tell you which parts go on for too long, or which moments are too short. I will tell you if your dialog sounds normal. And I will recommend certain novels that I think match your work, so you can read them and study them and improve. If anyone is interested just reply with a throwaway email or discord and I'll get back to you.

>>24873350how many years away are we from all this web novel trash being written by ai?
>>248758950
>>24875895Kind of already a problem but it's easy to spot them because they always write a certain way and have trouble keeping up a consistent story.Short stories have already been ruined by AI, it's hard to even tell now. Novels will be next. Ironically very long web novels will be the last to fall. The last bastion of human writing is power fantasy slop. Let that sink in.
>>24875895There's already ones being written with it but the fundamental problem that stops them from sneaking past unnoticed is memory, which is the expensive part of AI.Also the webnovel audience are the people jerking off to ai chatbots so they're funnily enough the people most familiar with its voice.
>>24875105For clarity I'll explain. Please nobody try to dox my stories. On my first fiction I ran two ads, one after the other with a gap of several weeks in between.First ad got me 56 follows, second ad got 64 followers according to RR's stats (probably accurate). I could go back and figure out the word/pagecounts but basically I was five and six months into regular posting before I ran the ads. After the second ad, I had enough followers/favorites to get recommended under similarly tagged/liked fictions and I've seen natural follower growth since then.On my new, writathon fiction I waited until I had 20k words posted to run an ad, and I went from six followers to 1X followers in the last four-five days. My CTR is 50% higher on this third ad so I'm hoping to get about 50% more followers as well, although this fiction is more off-market so maybe I won't.I won't be doing a second ad since I expect to finish the story before the ad run ends.As for the ratings, I'm still not getting more just yet. I'm taking that to mean that most people who would rate a story low simply choose not to rate, rather than leave a "negative" rating (like 2 or 3 stars). So I probably need to improve my writing/pacing in the beginning so people feel comfortable dropping five star ratings. On my first fiction I have about a 10% rating:follower ratio.Next step after this fiction and getting my free author premium month is going to be editing my first fiction for amazon and building backlog for my next fiction launch, which is going to be a straight isekai with an open ended plot and highly targetted to what RR readers like. Statboxes, action, aura farming, competent MC, all that jazz.
>>24875926>most people who would rate a story low simply choose not to ratemost of them are pussies, what they do is check if there's an existing low rating and then updoot that.
>>24873350I like how people on /v/ were shitting on lit RPGs and romance in sword art online today.
>>24875936>litrpgIt's a niche that mostly appeals to redditors and some zoomies.>saoAre they wrong?
>>24875941Nope but it was refreshing to see people realize SAO is bad cause of the romance and abandonment of its premise and not because some illiterate YouTuber said it's bad because he is afraid of the male character that plays second fiddle to everything else.
>>24875926How much of those new followers are converting into patreonites, do you have any idea?

>>24875390it is a thing. in theory it's so the jannies can look at the rater's pageview history and delete reviews from people who just flamed you without actually reading the work. in practice they are way too lenient with what qualifies
>>24875736that's the behavior of the median cn/kr haremslop reader
>>24875948>abandonment of its premiseWhat was SAO premise?
>>24875967This is one of the reasons why the cyberpunk one is so good, gives you progression constantly but only shows a full stat spread like twice in 100 chapters.(The main reason is just because the story is constantly pushed forward to a new fun scene instead of spending six chapters mid-story on training or some shit)
>>24876044I almost thought you were talking about mine but no I do linger on random bullshit for chapters at a time so you can't be talking about me

>>24875384>i jacked off so much my penis hurts andif you use lube before you get the little rugburn spot you can avoid this. Erm, or so I heard. From a friend. Just saying.
>>24875956Here's some of my stats, only for my first fiction which has advanced chapters. My second, writathon fiction doesn't have explicit patreon advanced chapters and isn't pushing people to profit. My goal is more contest participation, writing practice/experimentation, and to build a broader follower base to feed into my next big project.Patreon total members:Followers - 0.070Patreon Paid members:Followers - 0.047Patreon total members:Favorites - 0.261Patreon total members:Favorites - 0.174So I think I'm about average on conversion to patreon, after a year of posting consistently. I think I could have been bigger if I had advertised harder earlier, and if my writing had been better. I never hit RS or anything. So I'm going to really focus on polishing my early chapters and save up for probably three concurrent ads at launch to really try to hit RS.
>>24876064Yeah, cba to look up the subtitle.I've only read the big 3 or 4 in the subgenre, I don't really like cyberpunk that much as a setting but it's just a fun read.
>>24875923ai is surprisngly capable of memory. claude's in particular still remembers 2 characters i didn't mention in more than 16 chapters and even in further along the timeline outline it still lambasts me for not giving the established cast more room in the spotlight and saw me introducing more characters with half-assed rushed arcs (in the outline from its assessment), and that's just with freemium, so it's already getting there and its freemium recharge is far more generous than any others, like a 3hr cooldown. the other models bar copilot suck ass though.
>>24876073it hurts on the inside
>>24876139It's like that because it's reading your work, try to get it to write a series and it fucks. I read one on Webnovel where one chapter a character was wearing leggings and the next she was in a skirt even though it was a continuation of the same scene in the same room.
>>24876016ntai've never read the actual novelizations but having watched the anime the biggest issue is that it doesn't stick to the game mechanics. As far as the anime goes, the early episode with them using the item explosion animation to fake player death is actually a cool idea that only works because of the setting and is a good use of the premise. The manga has an arc about item scammers also working through the abuse of the game's systems. These are all cool things that draw me into a game world story. Sadly after these chapters/episodes it goes on to just general jackassery about how kirito is an uber hacker that can hack the game or literally just defy mechanics through force of will to do things which fucking sucks.
>>24875692I think those ____ Girl Evolution faggots deserve 0.5 star reviews for cheating the system.
>>24876173What was the premise?
>>24876183the premise was the characters are stuck in a video and if they die in the game they die in real life and kirito cheats his way out of the videogame and then everyone gets freed from the videogame and the story keeps going.but you knew that.
>>24876198To me it felt like it was just another ya romance with some sci/fantasy setting.
>>24876198I disagree, it's more that they would escape the game if they made it to the top, but plot twist, the villain was playing the death game too and they beat him on floor 75 out of 100 with bullshit. That was what ruined the premise.Beyond the actual game, SAO, is the kernel for the later games, Gun Gale Online, the fairy magic game, and then the simulation from the Alicization arc about making AIs with transplanted human souls. So the title is the premise: everything is fundamentally about the game system Kayaba (the first villain) made. That's also what makes Accel World a sequel series.
>>24876213it ended up being that way instead of focusing more on the game stuff, it sucked.>>24876215yeah them ending on the 75th floor was really lame but to me it was overshadowed by kirito dying in that fight and just going "nuh uh" to the game system and winning anyway. That pissed me off way more than them not getting to the top.
>>24876231>overshadowed by kirito dying in that fight and just going "nuh uh" to the game system and winning anyway. That pissed me off way more than them not getting to the top.Yep, that was extra bullshit. Especially since Kirito HAD AN ITEM that would prevent player death from the christmas event (if I recall correctly). Basically, Kirito should have won by actually being a good gamer, rather than just because. The GGO arc fixed this for me since they let him fight guns with lightsabers and his skill actually mattered. And Accel World has always been solid in my opinion.
>>24876174>cheatingyou mean using discord shilling and shoutout swapping to get to RS? because i have bad news about the rest of the royalraoad frontpage
>>24876168Yeah AI memory operates like bucket with a hole in it, once you go over a certain limit it just starts culling older messages. But even within memory it suffers from not knowing what details are important to bring up again. You can remedy this to a fair degree by giving the bot specific instructions and using context but it's the area where it's much weirder to read than a human writer. It's why the AI stuff I have read on RR mostly seems to be ESL ideas guys asking it to write scenes they've decided the details for, but even then it forgets stuff it said before (I doubt these lazy cunts are proofreading what they post to remember details)It's leading to a very funny review trend on RR where people who don't want the author's buddies to dogpile them for accusing them of AI usage will instead say stuff like "seems to forget about characters" to tell anyone reading between the lines that it's an AI story.

I wonder if web novels are the only way of trying to make a living with your writing, official editorial stuff certainly seems cucked beyond possibility if you are not a foid or a black gay guyIn that sense, this space might genuinely be the last bastion of maybe producing good stories, although the pace you have to publish chapters certainly doesnt help make that possible

I know this might be a random question, but with your stories, how do you keep them engaging? I've already written a couple of stories, but they were planned from start to finish, and everything in the plot had a clear purpose. However, in web novels, it feels like random elements are added that don't really serve the main story. Do we literally need to add a cliffhanger or keep edging the reader on every chapter, like in Shadow Slave?
>>24877928>it feels like random elements are added that don't really serve the main story.the fluff is part of the appeal>Do we literally need to add a cliffhanger or keep edging the reader on every chapter, like in Shadow Slave?it's one strategy that a specific type of web novel does. lots of popular stories don't do this

>>24877928You don't necessarily need cliffhangers, but on the other hand, you need to end strong, and a cliffhanger is one way to achieve that. End a chapter on a reveal, on a "line that goes hard", on a promise that what follows is gonna be even better. Put a gun to your readers' heads and force them to keep reading.
>>24877928>but with your stories, how do you keep them engaging?i don't, I just write what I think is cool

>>24878179>>24878181Consumers always have lower standards than producers for their work. At some point they reach a breakthrough of sunk cost where even middling chapters keep them excited more. Take a manga like Berserk which has been stuck on subpar chapters over the last decade but you can't wait to read what comes next because you've already developed high rapport with the characters to offset the bad pacing.
>>24878188I dropped Berserk like 15 years ago tho

>>24877928beats me. i can't even get people to read a finished 7 chapter short story.
>>24878695That's too short to read. Almost all contemporary readers have an aversion to short fiction.

>>24878745I find it strange because I read a lot of short fiction. It seems to be near universal though. Almost no anthology makes any money regardless. Some collections from a few authors can get some popularity, but it's very rare. It's just much more evident with modern serials.
>>24878622everyone's different. I used to do "filler" but heard a explanation I liked. Why do filler, which is pillow ticking. Instead, do little micro side plots. Example. To fill, maybe between two chapter must haves there's a wait. I used to maybe send MC to the store, perhaps. But with a tiny side plot (that goes nowhere) you now have a tiny story within the chpter. It breaks it up, it shifts gears. A plot that's "too linear" point A to point B is predictable and easily guessed. When you pepper these little side plots in the reader doesn't know which of the will *later* become important. I mean a painter wants you to see thing X but the painter also has other things as well. ONE of those might be important.>after I got used to this, I found myself putting tiny side plots in on editing passes, for foreshadowing. WHen the reder finally gets the "big reveal", they now kick themselves. this was hinted at several times, right in their face, they didn't see it.>Foreshadowing... when my MC in one big project was going to die at the end and drive the co-MC into the final stage of "big character development". I realized I already *had* a number of jokes he had made all along without realizing it, so on editing passes I added more."Oh, its hell hitting these years". (being funny)Commenter: "Christ, he's 24."Another? "Aw, I'll have plenty of time to sleep when I'm dead.""I'd sooner die than let this shit continue.""I swear, I'd trade my life just for the chance to get my hands around the throat of whoever did this.""No. I'm gonna see this through, even if it kills me."etc etc etc.On a later read after a long break, I realized how more foreshadowed his tragedy death was."Cat's named Emmy. Is that for Emma, or is the cat like the hollywood award, the Emmy.""Not Emmy, letter M, letter E...""The hell's that?""ME, Medical examiner? You know, cat's rip things apart. He's my little medical examiner.">you can come up with a lot over time after enough projects under your belt. There's ore than just your prose and dialog chops you're getting batter at. >>24876269>>24876231>>24876215SAO's game parts are pretty impressive to me considering it was written in 2001 for a writing contest in 2002. >>24879927I couldn't help comparing it to PGtE. The first 2/3rds were meh but I enjoyed the last part a lot and am waiting for my copy of the 2nd book. Also , kinda funny we are talking about tradbooks here and /sffg/ are wanking over Morrowind.
>>24879959/sffg/ is the /vr/ of /lit. We're more like the /v/.
>>24879855I don't mean that. In talking about MC being showered in beauties and all that and he just doesn't partake. Drinks tea with them they somehow makes them more enamored with him.Same with loot and other things. They just leave it all and somehow it all works out anyway.
>>24879949No. I posted about it being bad in one thread ever.
>>24879675Where is the statistics anon? It'd be cool to see a ranking of the 1500 writathon participants and see which ones popped off and which ones were clearly cheating (like 20 novels were featured as having 25k words written in the first hour).
>>24879759Ahh, I kinda suspected that. I've read the novels and watched the anime, but it was over a decade ago, and I knew there was some stuff that was adapted out of order...>>24879748Everquest?Yeah, Reki is certainly pretty imaginative. It's a damn shame SAO popped off so hard and he got typecast into doing nothing but that for dosh for so long (also he should be a multi-millionaire if he's not already, but I doubt he's getting royalties for the anime or merch).
>>24879855What is your dislike of xianxia based on? Because you clearly have not read a single xianxia novel? Do you just hate the Chinese and everyone and everything related to them?
>>24878632Ar'Kendrithyst. Daughter runs off to be an adventurer exploring the cursed city while pov character dad just sits around in town fucking around with magic spells
>>24880133I've read more of them than you.The fundamental problem with most of them is incredibly juvenile authors.
>>24880092I'm entirely uninterested in the writathon. You could try asking this person if they have any interest in doing so. They did 1 year follow up stats.https://www.reddit.com/r/royalroad/s/EIRH4kB7k2
Last 2 series i've tried:> He Who Fights With Monsters- Preachy ass MC- Unrealistic for 23 yo- Boring progression- I hate the way it's written, it's like a historical recount, has no emotion in the writing.- dropped after mc get saved by some god after 3 books, since it had no stakes at that point.> Beneath the dragoneye moons- Liked the system- Liked it till the timeskip- After the timeskip it goes off the rails, MC gets in a relationship with someone completely incompatible only because they are horny for each other, the next 100 chapters is about them living le happy life together when in real-life it would be the perfect case of lesbian domestic abuse. - MC makes herself into some kind of inhuman abomination that only looks like a human with biomancy, even though she was pretty clear on wanting to be human when reincarnating.- MC changes gender of confused kid with biomancy without parental consent and it's written as a good thing.- I hate MCs partner. Iona is super unlikeable.- Dropped at chapter 460, no point reading LitRPG turned juvenile unrealistic romance without progression.Anyway please send me some LitRPG recs.
Thinking of publishing my nearly complete fantasyslop on RR. Does anyone on here get others to critique or edit their shit first? Or do they just reread, say “good enough,” and slap it out to the public?
>>24880280Seems like some authors pivot to what they actually wanted to write after baiting an audience with typical RR fare.
>>24880280Player 0.4Read it for the worldbuilding. Progression takes some time until it gets going.Bare in mind: it's not what the blurb says. It starts as a murder mystery.
>>24880280>- Unrealistic for 23 yofuck man I'm gonna be 24 in a few daysit's over
>>24880300I don't even care about worldbuilding, I care more about interpersonal relationships and progression.
>>24873350I need good chinkslop to read
>>24880328>interpersonal relationshipsYes, kinda. It's fantasy mobster family but the MC starts clueless.>progressionTakes time and is asymmetrical. Not it's main sell pointBetter skip it then , sorry
>>24880280>like BTDEMAzarinth Healer. It's an upgrade on the things you mentioned with a bit choppier grammar and prose, at least the webnovel version. I haven't read the edited, published versions yet but I assume they fix that (and remove some """problematic""" early material, which I forget what it was; something to do with sex I think). Some that I'm reading now that I think you might like:The Pinnacle WarriorCat Girl Evolutionand it's a bit of a stretch, but if you don't mind grim, gore, and insanity: 1% Lifesteal.
>>24880294>Or do they just reread, say “good enough,” and slap it out to the public?I do this, because holy shit nobody I know reads. It's sad. I've got family begging to buy my book on amazon (despite me having a copy in hand to give to them for free), but they do NOT want to read it.Ideally you'd get someone read it and critique it and point out typos you missed but the hurdle is just too high.Anyway if you want to be successful keep in mind the market on RR and study the precepts.
>>24880389yeah someone recommended me Azarinth Healer but others said it has a lot of pointless hookups which i kind of am averse to. Though i managed to ignore it somewhat recently, might actually try it.It's kinda why i don't like Iona, she's a shameless slut that was banging a new person every day at magic school.
>>24880403Selkie is known for writing his political views into BTDEM and it's always jarring, which sucks because the world and Elaine are somewhat interesting. Song of the Gift-Giver has proven that it was luck that BTDEM started so good and remained good for as long as it did.AH doesn't do that, which is nice. If anything the biggest problem is that later arcs get a little repetitive, but at least they're entertaining to read chapter to chapter. And the ending is more satisfying than BTDEM's though you didn't get that far. As for the pointless hookups, maybe that's what was removed? I don't recall much sex or relationships at all in later arcs.If you want relationships, Taste of Magic has a somewhat tasteful romantic relationship. But it's a very slow paced story.
>>24880438One thing though - Azarinth healer MC fights with fists right? I read like first few chapters and she did kickboxing or something. Fighting with fists is just not interesting at all.
>>24880473So she's a healer, right? But she can due typeless damage with negative healing based on contact, because her class is broken/OP (but kinda balanced because it's a dead cult and other reasons). She also gets fire powers. The fights aren't uninteresting, at least in my opinion.

>>24880756This is probably the first time I've seen a relaunch actually succeed>>24880759Checking their patreon posts from the past few months they didn't like that that they toned down the "bimbo" characterization to reach a more general audience and that's why they slowed down and went on hiatus. They probably decided to relaunch and stick to the original vision.
>>24880558Bro she heals all the time. Mainly herself, but also other people and bystanders.Azarinth Healer is totally worth checking out.
>>24880599>>24880702Congratulations man! >>24880294I couldn't get wng to even read my wip whenever I posted it. Dammit, just tell me you don’t want to, or it sucks or something, being brushed off for MONTHS is the WORST. Maybe I’ll just use Claude like the other anon suggested.
>>24881056Personally I saw this coming and told them straight up if they don't want a copy I won't force it on them, and if they don't want to read it it's cool, I get that nobody reads.I mean, I read at least four hours a day, but most people read less than a paragraph a day, total.I was actually pleasantly surprised that two family members did read the book, and said they liked it. Of course they didn't have any useful feedback but that's okay. I have my friends on /wng/ and RR to talk to.

>>24881735I just ate, thanks for asking.
>>24881674>would he still remain the moral 1st life FY if he got isekai’d to a kinder world? No. You see that idea rejected completely when this happens:>Southern Border, inside the immortal battlefield killer move. Lu Wei Yin sighed deeply. Three lifetimes were over, but Fang Yuan was not reformed. “I was wrong!” I thought that this Fang Yuan was a heartless person or was filled with hatred and rage, that was the reason for his evil actions. “But the truth is, he has abundant emotions, he does not lack anything. Even though he pursues strength, he is not obsessed with it.” What drives him to do this is his goal. This goal is deeply ingrained in his heart, not only three lifetimes, even after a hundred lifetimes, it cannot be eradicated.”FY is amoral because he values his goal over everything else. That's not the result of his experiences in the Gu World, it's who he is at his core. All the Gu World did was give him hope that his eternal life was possible. That, and reward him for being evil. It's much easier and much more rewarding to kill, rob, steal, and scheme in the Gu World than in the real world.Anyways, it wouldn't make sense since the entire message of the story is to just bee yourself
any anons have litRPG wns that start in media res to recommend?
>>24881839>start in media resyour autism is showing, try asking that again in english
>>24881839People misunderstand in media res. The Iliad starts in media res. And it's overrated. There's nothing wrong with "once upon a time," try it sometime!
Once upon a time an anon listened to the advice of another anon. He lost everything then became an hero. To this day, anon still asks, then who was phone? No, anon, you are the monster. Then anon burst into treats.
I do it on purpose and I'm not sorry.
I intentionally give bad advice to weed out the competition

>>24882258>women aren't some alien speciesSource?
>>24881301Okay, so what i liked for example in PGTS is that Siobhan is finding ways to improve constantly, using magic in new ways, learning new magic. What i liked in Primal hunter is also the discovery and improvement even outside the system.(I dont like primal hunter as a whole and its kiddie pool depth)What i liked in BTDEM is the system is basically build your own skills and class. And the system is just using your feats to give you better skills and stats, but still you have to improve yourself to get better stuff. Pretty similar to primal hunter with records.HWFWM has basically zero of that, you just eat some essence stuff and then practice the stuff you're given. And the fact that your class except for skills is locked with specific essences is boring as shit. The MC is not improving in any way except for those skills that he is given. And the skills do not change except for improving upon classup.
