Online, everyone is acting like this is one of the worst abominations in the entire fantasy genre and ruined Sanderson forever when they were previously diehard fans. But by and large, most people enjoyed this book. Where can I find these people? There are four hour video essays about how Twilight is somehow good, but the pro Wind and Truth people seem completely absent from the internet.
>bro just make up your own mind bro
I've already been exposed to the basic gist of the problems people have with the book: pacing, heavy-handed themes, 10 days but they spend most of it in timeless space going to therapy sessions, etc. I just want to see the defenses out of curiosity. I will end up reading the book and forming my own opinion eventually.

>Storms, Kaladin thought. I have to help them. It was a laughable thought. How could he help? He was barely functional. It was all he could do to stand there.
>But stand. Kaladin. DID.
>And somehow it helped. Seeing someone else resist helped. Szeth, groaning, managed to look up at him. Syl stirred.
>“How?” Ishar repeated. “What are you?” He gestured toward Szeth. “Are you … are you his spren? His god?”
>“No,” Kaladin said. “I’m his therapist.” Ishar blinked.
>“… What is that?”
>“I honestly have no idea,” Kaladin admitted.

You understand that everyone has their own little bubble of the web, right? You have your bubble where Sanderson is a hack fraud and meanwhile thousands of others have a bubble where he's the bee's knees.

Anon... they're in your screenshot. They all use goodreads. There are 15,863 reviews right there for you to read.

It is a minority opinion. His books sell a ton and his fans are happy that he churns out slop.
