>Be me>Be NEET schizo shut-in >Have all the free time in the world to read and write all I want>Currently making a contemporary masterpiece that will never see the light of day>Finished The Brothers Karamazov twice because it's so aesthetically beautiful and enjoyableIf you work or study, you are not living the literary lifestyle.
>>24886814wonder what the cause of neet is
>>24886816Disability, at least in my case. I get government gibs.
>>24886820what disability
>>24886821Paranoid schizophrenia. I've held jobs and used to be high functioning enough to get into a PhD (although it wasn't fully funded, I went because my psychiatrist told me to). It's just gotten worse in recent years because the medication has made me very lethargic, overweight, and have fatty liver disease; I used to gym every day as a way to boost my mood, but find it hard now. My best lifts were 190 kg deadlift, 110 kg bench, and 160 kg squat.
>>24886823so neet isn't an intelligence thing?
>>24886831PhDs aren't for the intelligent, anon, at least not in the humanities. It's just about whether the school wants to take you on and you pay your way by getting an honours degree or MPhil.
I work 20-25 hours of very tiresome and tedious manual labour each weekBefore I got this job I used to waste about that much time each week doing absolutely nothing so it's not too bad
>>24886870You could spend those 20 hours reading two and a half novels. KEK.
>NEET for ten years plus now >wake up read for 2-4 hours >spend the rest of the day alternating between playing games and occasionally getting up to write something sometimes even just one sentence It’s a good life maybe I’ll finish a book one day
>>24887157You should send it out to publishers and make money on the side.
