The optimal nature of a society is one in which the woman is a full-time worker while the man is the stay-at-home philosopher-husband. Nietzsche speaks to this.
>>24888334Women were his Achilles heel.
Women really do have some kind of baseline mentality of "the world is fine, I just want to have fun" that no ambition or true self-mastery or self-sacrifice can grow in. It's definitely not socialization. I've seen too much. When you get unusually intelligent and reflective women, and you push them to the brink of considering what they want in the deepest recesses of their soul, they have literally zero desire to be Napoleon OR Plato. They don't want to be great or remembered, and they don't care about clawing their way into the secrets of the universe. They accept the universe. They are incapable of negation. The Phenomenology of Spirit should start with immediate knowing but immediate possession of a penis. Step 1 is immediate knowing, step 0 is "have a penis."
>>24888354I don’t know man. I’m a pretty big misogynist but I’m not sure I agree. Furthermore indolence is pretty widespread among the male sex - perhaps more often these days than among women (isn’t the sin of the modern woman that she is too ambitious? too masculine?) And is it even vicious? Most people cannot ever hope to be Plato or Napoleon. You or I cannot!
>>24888421>Women have been discouraged from genres such as sculpture that require studio training or expensive materials. But in philosophy, mathematics, and poetry, the only materials are pen and paper. Male conspiracy cannot explain all female failures. I am convinced that, even without restrictions, there still would have been no female Pascal, Milton, or Kant. Genius is not checked by social obstacles: it will overcome. Men's egotism, so disgusting in the talentless, is the source of their greatness as a sex. [...] Even now, with all vocations open, I marvel at the rarity of the woman driven by artistic or intellectual obsession, that self-mutilating derangement of social relationship which, in its alternate forms of crime and ideation, is the disgrace and glory of the human species.
>>24888421Thats because from what I know our society punishes men for that. It hardly ever happens to women because anything else is literally rape.
>>24888354Their true power comes from being fully absorbed in the present, with no worry for the future. When in this state, they are capable of great things, like prophetic ability, it's why they were oracles and priestesses. They can see through lies easily, they can unravel the veil but only when absorbed in the moment. And women will tell you this. They tell you, "oh anon, i just dont want to think, to worry about anything, i want to turn my brain off when im around you"Modernity has brainwashed women though so this ability is neutralised
>>24888430In fact I'd ask that women at least experience a little pain every now then to prove to me they're human
>>24888436Then how come extreme maleness comes from the inability to lie in of itself? Its self-refuting.
>>24888441I disagree that extreme maleness is one that doesn't lie. However, just because a woman can see through lies, doesn't mean she is not a liar.
>>24888421is promiscuity a type of ambition?
>>24888334this is just haredi judaism retard
>>24888334You're the most deranged samefag on the board. Get a job.
>>24888354This also happens to many men. They get old and become pragmatic (usually at the behest of a woman) and start to see everything but work, resource gathering, making connections etc as frivolous. You will see many an aging millennial on this board with such an attitude, condescendingly so. They carry themselves with an arrogant knowing as if such pursuits are but distractions of youth, they have become Das Man and do as he does with satisfied affirmation. But of course it doesn't end there, at some point they will truly age and all these questions of youth they thought they had overcome will come running back like a million rapids through the mind, alas the spring will go dry next season.
Do you guys not understand why evolution forged males in the first place? Males are, strictly speaking, not required to exist. In many species, females reproduce on their own. So why do males exist? Mainly, as an experimental part of the species that allows the species to expand its ecological niche and to have alternative configurations. Males are experimenters. In humans, this tendency to experiment extends to ideas: science, art, philosophy, mathematics, etc. Hence why, in every culture ever studied, men ideate more than women. They're *literally* made for it.
>>24889248As a millennial who missed the boat I don't understand the rest of them.
>>24889349Actually I'd argue the opposite, women are simply aesthetically pleasing wombs. Also, unlike humans, other animals don't have a sense of self or inner monolgue that enables to develop art, science and culture. The only function of animals is in survival mode at all times. Women simply lack the capacity to form complex societies which enabled us to get where we are. The Roman pantheon, the Sistine chapel, the scientific method, all male creations. Sure, males are more violent but conquest enables empires to expand and grow. A mere tadpole or amoeba is unable to do such things, which is why they're stuck in a state of perpetual evolutionary statis.
>>24889349>>24889368Sorry I didn't read the rest of your post I'm tense and on edge here at 4:48 am. But yeah agreed.
>>24888334>Nietzsche speaks to this.Nietzsche confirmed as a worthless faggot
>>24889368What exactly is an inner monologue, I see it referenced often but no one seems to describe what they mean by it?
i have so much contempt for all of you. it's like lifting up a rock and seeing a bunch of bugs and small slimy creatures squirming around in the filth, and when you put your ear closer you hear they're all chittering about the superior depths of their character and subtlety of their intellect.
>>24888354>It's definitely not socialization. I've seen too much. They way you people somehow manage to always turn the blind eye to the most obvious, most simple and likely true explanation is incredible to me.What you call "baseline" mentality is much more likely the result of centuries of impaired access to instruction than anything else. Women philosophers have existed provided they had material means and access to education, and of course you have had more women thinkers as soon you opened the doors to universities for them. To expect them to be on pair with men within one century after we factually made everything to block their education for the last 5000+ years is preposterous - and one should actually be surprised of how fast they managed to catch up and improve and produce amazing literature in the span of two or three centuries considering what their starting point (for most: house slave) was.>they have zero desire to be Napoleon or PlatoI don't know about Napoleon but Plato himself says that women have the desire to be Plato, as he openly states in the Republic that women with philosophical souls are born naturally and that with the right education they can be philosopher queens and rule the perfect city. So not only your opinion is totally incorrect but you also do not read. One must be stupid not to look forward for whatever women will produce if they can survive the social media landscape reinforcing the most vile, conservative, ugly and sterotyped image of what a woman should be on a daily basis. Provided they are not hypnotized into trad-wifery (the same way in which I'm being told on a daily basis that I should be a muscular viking working 12 hours a day in order to be loved, which I am never going to or want to be), I cannot wait to finally see what the other half of humanity has to say about the world. The female authors I loved were always incredible discoveries, and you're missing out on half the fun of being alive if you've never talked to or read a genuinely philosophical woman.

>>24889248>They get old and become pragmatic (usually at the behest of a woman) and start to see everything but work, resource gathering, making connections etc as frivolous. You will see many an aging millennial on this board with such an attitude, condescendingly so.As an aging millennial I can tell you, I thought the same about GenXers when I was your age - except for the women part. But it's really not women who make you "pragmatic" anon, it's bills. If you don't have rich parents, once you're out of uni, life becomes hell. Going to work 8 hours a day, five days a week in the current work environment (meaningless, repetitive tasks in place you likely hate or are indifferent to) has been the hardest thing I have ever done in my life up to now. Mentally speaking, it breaks you in ways you would not expect. As long as I was a student I only thought about art, writing, philosophy, cinema and interesting things, I was curious and wanted to explore the world. Now I'm 36: I'm still plenty curious, I read literature and philosophy, go to the cinema, engage with art, etc. - but the time to do so has been drastically reduced by having to work. The 8 hour workday is a giant scam: it has at least two peripheral hours (before you work and after you work) when you need to prepare for work and unwind from work, which you factually cannot use to exist as a human with thoughts - and I am understating this, most times it takes more than one our to both prepare and unwind. After that, there are a thousand burocratic bullshit things biting your ass at any given moment - expenses for all the things you rent for a living, things breaking, things that need to be bought, cooking, washing stuff, etc. Most days you barely manage to do all this stuff in the 16 hours you're awake, let it be do other stuff - which will, btw, take away your sleep as you get older and keep worrying and need more caffeine to keep finishing doing things that you hate to do things that you love. Of course you can cut working hours and take a part time job, go live in shared flat, and all of this reduces to about a half - and you get back time to read, write and have a psychological life of some kind. This is what I am currently doing anon. You get novels published that way - but what you get in return is that you become a ridiculous man in the eyes of the world, which is way tougher to withstand at 36 than it is at 26, when the stakes are non-existent. Good luck having a relationship in your 30s when you don't own a car, can barely afford more than one night out per week, and cannot plan a holiday with anyone - or keeping up with friends who are having kids and buying houses. The real struggle begins at this point of your life. When you decide to "give up" and "settle down" it's not because of a woman, it's because you get worn out by poverty and the general lack of human companionship that comes when you try to be yourself past 30.
>>24889403No, I'm just asking what they mean by it, people just say inner monologue and run with it, they don't elaborate on their experience, it seems like they merely repeat claims about an inner monologue but don't don't have the experience of having one to properly describe what it's like.
>>24889480It’s the voice in your head you take to be your thoughts. The phenomenology is like sound, except the sound is obviously not external nor from the environment, it is language with a self taken as the cause producing it.
>>24889424Well said. Maybe it’s worth going full grifter mode. I wouldn’t mind work if the money was real and the government/community were working towards a future.
>>24888334This is basically what I'm trying to sustain. My wife is filthy rich; she doesn't need to, but decides to keep working. I listen to classical music, read the classics, and think and talk to myself all day.
>>24889480See the movie Airplane from 1980 - the married couple where the husband gets sick and the wife's thoughts and analysis are being heard aloud despite not moving her mouth for a good part of the film. It's a good definition of inner monologue.
>>24889424Dude you don't have to work. You can literally leech on your welfare your entire life or do some shit paying casual work and live in a shack in backwoods. You're doing all this because you aged and panicked and this is likely because you think you need to get a woman and support a family. You became them. You chose this. You chose this because you feared taking the plunge and abandoning society for your own destiny - alone.
>>24889552>abandoning society for your own destiny - aloneAnd do what, exactly? Suck cock underneath a bridge? You realize that such a path means utter failure for 99% of people, right?
>>24889552As I said in the post, I left my 9-5, and since then I have worked part time at a shit paying casual job. I have also taken a one year break last year to live on welfare and yes, you can survive this way. I have no intention of abandoning society. Some people are worth my time and I like being with them. This is the life I chose, and I was not expressing any regrets in my previous post. I was just point out that the peer pressure is harder to shrug off once there are actual financial and physical stakes.
>>24889424What would you say about aging millennials such as myself who never went to uni when they were out of high school but decided to go later? I'm 43 and for some reason I can't tie a woman down. Engaged twice, never married no kids. So i said, fuck it, nothing else going on, no job prospects, might as well go back to school, studying history.
>>24889501Is it the voice telling me I should do stupid shit or is it the voice telling the voice that says to do stupid shit to shut the hell up?
>>24888334There would have to be a genetic engineering miracle for this to happen as the average woman would rather be single (or die) than support a man financially. This whole concept is going to be moot soon anyway because we will have all the time in the world for philosophizing and leisure once automation makes all jobs redundant.
>>24889731>once automation makes all jobs redundantYea im sure the powers that be will keep us all around to enjoy literature and philosophy once we have no more economic vallue to add.
>>24889737>Yea im sure the powers that be will keep us all around to enjoy literature and philosophy once we have no more economic vallue to add. They will or they will be run over by hundreds of millions of angry citizens.
>>24889757Sure, buddy. Just like what happened during Covid, right?
>>24889763As if that were close to the severity of people losing their jobs FOREVER. Disingenuous. I don't think you really believe that people would roll over and let their families starve, you are just being contrarian.
>>24888334Every simps dream
>>24890001Cope.
>>24888354Consider this: Plato brought contemplation and deep thought to his fellow man. But deep contemplation into our own existance is frought with futility and insignificance that can only lead to sorrow. Yet a single onlyfan's girl will bring immediate joy to thousands and very little contemplation. Is not her labours as worthy?
>>24891523Nta but you assume all joy is equal. Besides, some immediate pleasures can be destructive in the long run.
>>24889774>contrarianBecause I disagree with YOU? Stupid retard. People were losing their jobs for years. Excluded from society. Stuck at home. About 90% of them kept quiet and took vaccines they didn’t even want in order to maintain whatever hell of a life they were living in. Covid was a trial and humanity failed. Also, all of this is in response to you claiming that AI will take their jobs away to begin with. Stupid nigger.
>>24891553>About 90% of them kept quiet and took vaccines they didn’t even want in order to maintain whatever hell of a life they were living inoh, so you actually are that stupid. okay. have fun with that
>>24889399>woman gets education>woman works as a doctor for a few years>woman gets married and retires to have children>decades of educational resources, created by men, wasted
>>24889399yes but the republic's speculative contents must always be remembered under the analogy of the two sizes of typed characters. as the big character type used to read what the small character type in the distance says. the small character type is the psychological purity of an ethical mind. socrates is known cultivating an image of himself as the midwife of philosophy, as a female counterpart to his tyrannical and ignorant male interlocutors.
>>24888354This is the true danger of feminization. Women do not experience wonder. Their creative influence, or lack thereof, brings spiritual sterilization upon society.
>>24889731>There would have to be a genetic engineering miracle for this to happen as the average woman would rather be single (or die) than support a man financially.Unless it's their son. Philosopher king son-husbands with mommy-wives!
