I remember, in class there was this whiz kid student who ended up getting a scholarship to Oxford and then a double first and now works at Deloitte. One time for a presentation he proved incontrovertibly that most of Shakespeare’s output was written by a woman, and when he concluded and it was time for questions none of us could think of a way to challenge him, so our teacher stepped in and had a go, but this kid just absolutely destroyed her arguments one after another, totally amicably, not in a snotty way or anything, just with pure genius, and our teacher ended up getting flustered and losing her cool and telling him he was peddling conspiracy theories and he should shut up or get detention, anyway someone else recorded the whole thing and it was a bit of a scandal at school, everyone knew about it, she ended up leaving at the end of the school year, we never saw her again, I looked her up on LinkedIn and she’s headmaster at some other school, so I infiltrated a Facebook group and sent them the video, suddenly she’s blowing up all over again, it’s like the forbidden video over there, you can’t send it or watch it, it’s like contraband, I remember telling the whiz kid that started it all and he just laughed and was totally magnanimous about the whole thing.
