Why do so many books but also movies and shows start with character waking up in his bed and then doing his morning routine? Or sometimes there's a short teaser and after that you have the morning routine. What started this? What's the first example of this thing?
That's life baby.
lust inducing image.time wasting question.
>>24903205>moviesHollywood screenwriters are simple creatures devoid of imagination and usually base their stories on the same template, that teaches them to introduce character's daily life before interrupting it with an event kickstarting the actual narrative.
if i close my eyes i can still visualise her vid and jack off to it
>>24903205Teachers don't like it when you start your story with something like "Last month, at a street in Sarajevo..." They wanted your story to start right away and show your reader what is happening, instead of just telling them what was happening. I don't know what books you've read to experience someones morning routine, but it sounds like an easy way for an author to just get words on the paper before their story even begins.
>>24903205>Genesis in the Bible>Oblomov>The Sopranos Intro>Three Little Birds by Bob Marleyfirst examples from the top of my head. every day starts with waking up. telling the tale of a full day starts there. not exactly Shakespeare, but if it works, it works.
>>24903205Not the first, but The Metamorphosis is a great example.
>>24903205>why do narratives establish a status quo before the inciting incident that kicks off the story comes along and disrupts that status quo?because that's part of what a Narrative fundamentally is. there's no arc without a beginning.
>>24903224>lust inducingThis bitch looks more ravaged than the Sahara
>>24903297>there's no arc without a beginning.yes, but you can show hero's status quo in million different ways and plenty of stories do that greatly. This morning routine shit is just boring as hell and overused
>START of a story coincides with the START of a character’s day. >anon doesn’t see why this would be common El Autismo
