>>24922909https://the-best-of-amp.github.io/https://the-best-of-amp.github.io/assets/the_best_of_amp_digital.pdfThis is an best-of compilation of stories that appeared in an earlier /lit/ zine (&), which were selected because other anons liked them. Some fan favourites:>the Justice System>the Only Computer Crime for Which Theologians Are ConsultedSome personal favourites:>Pinakes (pic rel)>QQQuest>Dog KillerThere was a another best-of anthology made for a different /lit/ project, the Flash Fiction Anthologies. There's no PDF, but you can find it for print on Lulu.com if you look up "A Short Fiction AnthologyA Short Fiction Anthology /lit/". I haven't read it, though my impression is that the original editor of the series did all of the selecting himself. As far as novels from /lit/, I've read books I've enjoyed from Ogden Nesmer (esp. I Pray to the Hungry God and the Bath Procession), Adem Luz Rienspects (Mixtape Hyperborea), and Wallace Mack (Corndog Zen). Ogden also had a story, Void, that ended up in the & best-of. Corndog Zen is a first novel from Wallace, and it's pretty rough around the edges, but I felt similarly about the first novel from Ogden (Eggplant) and he moved up from there.>>24922942I got about halfway through over the summer. I think it was a long section about a king when I dropped it, but mostly I remember the font size shrank by half and every page effectively became twice as long. Has some real highs, though.
