I had to set a hard limit and cut it out completely for about a month to reset and establish a better habit.

I dunno what works for you, but I just had to re-align my disgust drive for it, i.e. think about how Indian I was being by wasting my time on pointless internet shit. Immediately plowed through Pynchon's V. nonstop after that thought.

Good luck, anon.

I always wondered about the psychology of these people who aggressively egg on suicide. Do they want to do it themselves? Are they dealing with the trauma of a lost loved one by suicide? Why do they get so angry with the suggestion of others committing suicide? In this case, OP never expressed a desire to do so. I've seen this phenomena across websites over the years.

Same anon, but not really. My ego is too large for that.

I think that he is aggressively pushing OP to read.

That could be true. Context matters a lot.

The internet is at it's lowest most uninteresting stage since the 90's. I spent an hour scrolling the other day and felt like my energy and life force was being sucked out of me by demons wanting to buy themselves watches in Bangladesh and Succubi paying their pimps in Bulgaria.

"Internet brain" in my sense is more like reading and shitposting instead of studying or making progress with my life plans.

i think it's a rajasic-tamasic man's conquest in general, to drive with their will everything without it needing to be from some virtuous place and purpose, that's not where the head/heart is, just getting a reaction may be satisfying in most cases.
here on this board, it's probably just meta funny or whatever. or

I haven’t read at all in three weeks and before I was reading 200–300 pages a day. I feel unable to go back to that.

I started getting really bad brain fog/concentration problems after getting laid off, probably from not having a regular routine to the day.

Started taking 10mg of creatine monohydrate which has tons of brain benefits. After about two days it started going away.

I take 5mg in the morning then again in the evening.

Yeah, I kind of used to reward myself whenever i finish reading parts of a very long book in a day, Shit was fun and i intend to go back, it's just internet ruins a person

Will try it.

I mean, if it weren’t for the internet I’d probably be reading the midnight library
