What do you think of the Gnostic idea of Pneumaitcs, Psychics and Hylics as a way of dividing up the three main kinds of people in the world? I find the idea of the Hylic particularly compelling. Purely material people with no sense of wonder or inner divinity about them who will be trapped in the cycle of rebirth and will eventually dissolve with the material world.I find it even more compelling when I see the amount of fucking morons on this website sometimes as well

Hylic is a meme term. if you unironically believe people are hylics, then you're probably something that fits that descriptor yourself.What's happened is, we've had a massive population explosion. many of the souls walking around are new souls, who were perhaps other beings in previous lives, like whales, elephants, things like this. They're now on their journey as humans, but dont have much experiences so they simply dont care for the realm of meaning and value. Theyre on their journey and theyll figure it out

We really need to stop explaining physical phenomenon with non-physical processes, because it's just not real.You explain the material world through physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics. That's it.If you want to have a philosophy that is about spiritualism the ONLY way for it to work out is to completely disconnect it from the material world.This means the philosophy should never try to explain physical phenomena, never try and touch on what happens to you or your soul after death.
