The reality is that most people in history have been nominally religious cause the reality is that most people are too busy to bother with religion. The idea I was talking about was the iconoclastic nature of Christianity which was so fervent and powerful and so unique to it that it ultimately lead to it giving rise a strain of iconoclasm that overthrew Christianity itself. This would never have happened in a pagan or Buddhist framework because iconoclasm wasn't such a central aspect of those belief systems unlike Christianity.

The hard part is doing so without it being a LARP, we are not for example going to pretend that there are characters watching us from above to whom we should sacrifice animals etc. But we need something that is inherently European, something that is not tainted by the worldview and morality of the Jew, which is antithetical to the traditional European's system of values. If you look at the way that Christianity was changed, shaped and moulded to fit with the European way of life, the Pagan festivals etc, you can see how the system of belief was always in opposition to the way Europeans think. Christianity is not life-affirming, it is also hard to align nationalism with Christianity, to be a good Christian you should accept all people, you should turn the other cheek to their transgressions, and you should apologise for being human and try your best to control your wills until you finally get to die and reach heaven. This kind of self-disregard is not what we need in the West right now, we need might is right, we need our people joining together to weed out the Other, before it is too late. Christianity cannot serve as our doctrine for this, it doesn't matter that we have "been Christian" for a 1000 years, it may have served us for a while, but it cannot serve us any longer.
