Been here for almost a decade (active poster since 2016) and /lit/ has changed a lot. Here's where I cut my teeth in critique threads and got my arse blasted by faggots who tore my novel manuscripts to bloody shreds. Now, you cannot even get an anon to read a short story. What happened? Over the years, I guess I grew thick faffin' skin and now even the most irate prick cannot get through to me if we have an argument. I actually miss how anons used to tear my arse up and dump a load of hot, thick cum in me, when I asked them to read over my shitty attempts at novels. I have publications now and think anons can make it if they really try and set time aside each day to write. You faggots really changed for the worst. I'm still gonna lurk moar but thought this place would have had a renaissance, what with the advent of the digital world giving us more and more information and knowledge to pore over.
>>24929236That's pretty gay,but goon on you for being successful at what you wanted to do.>changed for the worstI bet your editor hates you.
>>24929236>really changed for the worst>for the worst>the worstYou haven't had anything published you can barely string a sentence together. That's "time immemorial" tier malapromism, that's all "intensive purposes" normgroid Facebook "tender hooks" retardation.

>>24929236What better places have you found then
>>24929755Discord servers that have channels for critique. Don't choose random ones. Choose ones tied to magazines.
It warms my heart seeing niggers get education. All man has infinite potential, yes even niggers.
>>24929236I feel you anon, for me it has been pretty much the same. Despite the "you are here forever meme" I feel like most people move on with their lives and that this websites is mostly full of people in their twenties. Older people either leave or stop posting - especially because in places like this you are overwhelmed by how many young users will open the exact same threads you opened, and processed and discussed when you were their age. What changes are stupid trends like DFW and Traditionalism, but overall the same kind of literature gets discussed in pretty much the same kind of way with minimal variations and while making always the same mistakes. Some things have become objectively worse, in that you can really see that no one reads or want to read anymore here. But the cheap philosophy thread to discuss about politics or baby's-first-theological-thought (not book related or book based) have always been here - I think it has something to do with the fact that most poster's brain isn't fully formed yet because they are young. If you try to make quality posts no one listens - or most people pretend not to, but will when they are older. It all becomes exhausting in the end.
>>24929236There are literally paid shills who come on this board to shit it up now. Have you forgotten about the recent leaks and post analyses? Fuck, half of /pol/ was Israeli retards trying to disrupt the discourse. But all boards have gotten hit in some way or another. They were writing articles on this as early as 2016. That's when things, in my mind, started to take a real nosedive. You can't be sure you're talking to someone who actually gives a damn about lit anymore. Guess that's why people have migrated to Discord or whatever.
