I enjoyed reading Lovecraft's fiction and tales but I am not sure where to go next. I want to read more about Lovecraft himself, particularly around Cosmicism and his beliefs which influenced his stories. I found a 5-volume series that collects his essays, from Literary Criticism and Travel to Science and Philosophy which looks interesting. I've also been thinking of picking up either the two-volume biography on him by S.T Joshi or look for a collection of his best letters, but given that he wrote over 100,000, and the only selected editions I'm aware of by Arkham House are no longer in print (and very expensive), I'm not sure where to go next. Is there a guide or chart? I need the help of a Lovecraft aficionado.

If nothing, then a Lovecraft thread.
