What do you think of the 48 Laws of Power? I'm thinking of buying it. What do you think?
Even if it was useless it tells very important lessons from history. 48 Laws reads like a literary masterwork in comparison to the author's alleged mentee, Ryan Holiday.I think the book is great, I still tell myself lessons from it. More precious wisdom can be found elsewhere but at least you know you're in bad company if you recognize any of the characters in 48 laws.
Honestly it's good old fashioned sloppa. Certainly amusing, and you can be an epic 4chan critic in your head about how each law is dumb. I liked the historical examples for each one though, some were quite funny. Better listened as an audiobook if youre taking a long train ride than actually opened and read with your eyes.
>>24938296most of my life problems stemmed from being a smart ass who constantly violated the first law so reading about it was eye openingalso every single law simply makes sense and having them presented like in the book makes for a very enjoyable read full of interesting historical anecdotes
